arghhh! This kind of sucks. Did the +$5/Wii Game deal end yesterday or today?

Hmm, definitely disappointed that this turned out to be only a $10 bonus instead of the rumored $15 bonus. Guess it was just a rumor though and not confirmed until today so probably shouldn't have got my hopes up. That said, if they are including $1 games in this promotion that helps things a bit. I'll still be able to build up some credit for RE5 and Halo Wars. Hopefully some of the better TIVs hold as well.

Yep. GS is starting to nickel and dime us at every turn, now.

Guys, as far as the TIV minimum goes, if $1 was indeed quoted by a GS employee, I wouldn't get my hopes up on some games, such as PDZ or All Pro Football. Usually, the games need to have a TIV of higher than $1, not a minimum of $1, so such titles would not apply. They might have decided to loosen the restrictions, considering the deal is not as good as before, but just keep this in mind.

Tagging, but I wanted to tell JP great job and keep up the good work...

I am heading how to a GS here in a few minutes and will post from my phone what the Minimum is as soon as I find out.

I have an answer. This promotion is not working yet. It IS active, their systems just aren't working right. An email went out earlier today to all stores telling them to override trade ins with the extra $10 until its fixed.

Also update in TIV for OP: Transformers is now $5.

Thanks for the update. I just had a problem with this less than an hour ago. The guy scanned my games and quoted me the total I came up with including the +10 (twice) but when he tried to complete it, it only reflected one +10. I'll try again tomorrow.

Unless I'm reading you wrong, that's what they're supposed to do right now. You won't get an extra $10 for each game, but for every group of three.

Example:
Transformers, The -16.50
-1 @ 5.00 (actual trade in price)
Bonus -10.00 Price Overide (the $10 bump for trading in three at once)
Disc: 1.50 Edge Card 10% (self explanitory)

Okami -7.70
-1 @ 7.00
Disc: 0.70 Edge Card 10%

BioShock - 8.80
-1 @ 8.00
Disc: 0.80 Edge Card 10%

Preown total -33.00
Subtotal 0.00
Purchase Total 0.00
>>Refund Due -33.00

Prev Balance: 558.94

Manager manually had $10/3 games.

All together got 79.18 and then picked up 360 Wireless headset for 29.67.

The way they manually ring it up actually works in our favor. Instead of the $10 going under "Bonus: $3.33" per game, they are adding $10 to the trade in value of one game...before Edge. So in essence we are getting an $11 bonus for trading in 3 (Edge 10% is being applied to the $10 bonus. Normally Edge 10% is not applied to the bonus promo)

Good point, I guess I didn't even notice that in my trade. Gave me an extra $2. Not huge, but definitely nice and makes up for past refurb fees.

i called two GS i was planning on stop by this evening, they have no idea about this deal. Is it auto $10 bonus or it needs to override by the cashier?

As of about 5:30 EST tonight, it still had to be done via overide. There should be some sort of signage in the store though.
