When you trade in a game accessory (say a controller), do you sign authorizing that the accessory works like new? I mean, with a disk they can look at it and see its scratched and charge you a fee, do they test the controllers and can they charge you a refurb fee if they don't work properly?

Honestly from what I have seen they just check to see if it clicks and moves correctly from my experience. If it doesn't meet those requirements they just wont take it from what I've seen.

I just wish I didn't even say anything in the first place and made out with $20 extra trade in :(. So stupid. :(

They don't accept XBOX games anymore. It went into affect FEB 9th. LINK

can you trade in two copies of the same game at the same time? i have some Hazes i bought from Target for about $7 and i'd like to use them as padding to get to 6 games and with Edge that's 50% more in value.

i have Star Wars TFU which i got for $20 at Family Video and i'd net $5.50 in profit if i traded in. i'd get Mario Sluggers and trade that in for $9.50 in profit. i paid $20 for Prince of Persia and i'd get back what i paid for it there.

all in all i'm looking at $15 or so in profit if they'd do this.

Updated. Multiple games at the same time is very YMMV.

do they take multiple accessories since i know they usually don't take multiple cames. but what if i had like... 3 component cables?

Yes, they do. I turned in 3 sets of the Nyko PS3 charger sets. That's 6 cables and 3 charge docks.

Will be watching this thread to see if PS2 games are elgible. If they are, I might have to make a trip up there and trade in some current gen games and PS2 games as filler to hit the 40% more trade in value.

bought the Mortal Kombat 3 pack for the PS2 as filler so i could avoid multiple games. it was like $15 at Sears so if i'm lucky all the games will be still worth at least $3 each and the 50% would have me close to breaking even on them.

When you trade games in, say I trade madden 09 for ps3 and COD4 for 360, is the price less if I ask for money and not trade-in credit?

Yes they give less for cash, and they do not let you use the trade in offers

Anybody know what the crappy inu yasha RPG for the DS trades in for?

I traded in two mad catz wireless bobo controllers for ps3 that I bought at k-mart about 6 - 7 months ago for $7.00 and got around $10 a piece for them.. they didn't test them, just made sure they had the usb hub with them
