Has anyone messed with these before? I've been thinking about getting one. A friend of mine might be getting me one for a christmas present. Not sure yet if she is or not. I see they got a new mustang and challenger package out. Are there several addons and packages available?
I don't know too much about these and not exactly sure how they work. I guess its just like a small remote control car that you build and customize right?

Any good deals out there for these things?

They're pretty fun especially if you can modify them to have better engines, tires, and body kits. But it will cost a pretty penny to make it super fast.

Only Radio Shack sells them but they're a bit harder to come by now since they don't release as many models any more. I picked up 2 of the more rare kits before they were retired: Blue Subaru WRX and Red Infiniti G35. Once they are retired, they tend to be worth a bit more because they are no longer made again.
