Ya, it's a pain but gold isn't that expensive. With the recent sales on gold memberships it ends up being about 2.50 a month.

Also, you could just create a fake account (which gives you a free month of gold anyways) and then buy an 800 point card from BB, CC to get it. Since it will be associated with both the gamertag that downloaded it and the console you will be able to play it with your silver account. A pain in the butt i know but it's a work around.

In for 1. I have 800 points left over and had no idea what to get, was thinking of Schizoid or something, but this is a MUCH better choice.

The game on the other hand I thought it was great. The music is the best part about the game. Such beautiful music in this game. Well worth the $10.

Cool, in for 1. Wanted to get it, but for $15 I passed it up. Now's the time for me to get it at $10, even though I have a crap load of games to play, a sale is a sale

meh, i didnt care for this game but im sure most of you getting it will like it, just wasnt for me, puzzle games kind of annoy me. but alot people like it so if you were thinking of getting it, now is definately the time.

Bought for exactly that reason. Well, not that reason alone... I did want the game. But I'm done with games over 800 points. I did buy Castle Crashers, but if I had a second chance, I would wait.

Interesting that after looking at the list of LIVE Arcade games, all of the games over 800 points (except CC, Braid and Penny Arcade 1) were released recently... October 2008 - present. Hopefully they haven't sold too well and will mark down some more of those more pricey games... and hopefully people will buy them and send a message that more people will buy them if they're priced a bit lower.

Here's hoping that SSF II Turbo HD and Portal are lowered. I'll buy both of them if and when they're marked down to 800.

Nope. We have too many "gotta have it now" people out there. Most of those, if not all, will remain $15 for the remainder of this year if not longer.

woohoo. I never got around to buying this because I was too caught in up other games when this game out. I will download this tonite. Nice Job MS! I didn't think you had it in you.

Finally, now I can buy this game. Maybe MS is finally learning from superior content providers*cough* valve *cough*

I am one of the few that hates this game. I played the trial and couldn't tell what the big fuss was about. On the other hand my girlfriend loved it and said she'd play it if I bought it. Which is rare because she only finds maybe two games a year that she actually wants to play. I'll probably be getting this, maybe I'll give it a second chance. I still have like 8000 points left from when I spent 280 dollars of gamestop credit on MS points when I decided I was done with them.

Sweet! I love the weekly XBLA deals! Finally I feel good about purchasing Braid!

I just bought this a week ago for 1200 MS points.

I'm also another person who was holding out for this to go on sale someday... I didn't think it actually ever would, but here we are.

The only game I could justify at the 1200 point range was SSF2 HD Remix... I've probably poured more time into that than any big budget game anyway.
