After weak ass Black Ops, hopefully this will be worthy of a first day purchase.

On the bright side, this probably means we'll get Battlefield 2143 next year now.

Show me some Zombies and I might actually consider buying this for cheap in the future.

Sure enjoyed the wager matches in the first one. Hope they implement them in Black Ops 2 also.

That horses part reminded me of Uncharted 3.

Not really digging the future war setting. I would prefer something like WAW mixed with Blops. But im still keeping an eye on this.

Just keep the game fun, dives, flame throwers, tomahawks. Yeah... oh and remove last stand/second chance perk.

Treyarch's last two games had much better maps than MW3, so I'm in...not that I wouldn't have been otherwise, sucker that I am lol.

2012. New MOH and BO
2013. New BF and MW
And so on and so on with EA owing BF and MOH and COD heading up BO and MW.....

I like the MP gameplay and graphics in MW better than WAW/BLOPS, but other than that it seems Infinity Ward doesn't put out anything except the minimal effort.

Look at everything that Treyarch does with their releases. While using celebrities in commercials is becoming the norm, Treyarch purchased the rights to some big name music to include with the game and also had some voiceovers in the zombies DLC. Add in some of the dynamic game modes like sticks and stones, the gun game and one in the chamber for good measure.

The only interesting addition for MW3 is survival mode. Just adding maps isn't enough to keep the game fresh. This is coming from someone that used to swear by IW.

Also, COD Elite is a flop in my opinion.

I feel that Infinity Ward used to do most of the innovating in their games, and Treyarch just following behind and polishing. CoD 4 and MW2 were much more innovational than WaW or Blops. Now than Infinity Ward is a shell of what it formerly was, I doubt that's still the case now though.

No they're not. Parts of the game take place in 1980's Afghanistan. That's when you ride the horses. Check the GB article, GB BLOPS 2 podcast, or Jeff Gertsmann's Twitter.
