This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, trade-in values, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.
After searching for a game title, click the
icon to pop-up a window with pricing information.
After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360
You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.
Example: gears of war prices
Example: ninjatown review

This is my 10th Xbox since launch.....counting 3 refurbs that they sent that were broke out of box, and while I love the system, this is the FUCKING BIGGEST TURD OF A SYSTEM EVER MADE. How the hell can you so poorly design hardware that it fails all the dam time. I would have a PS3 if they actually had a dam plan for it to be a GAMING system, but its library is too limited for me and I will stick with my ticking time bomb. Is the E-74 error actually the RROD in disguise? I think that question needs to seriously be looked into given how Microsoft is handling repairs of the console. I hope I am wrong but seems fishy to me.

What's up with all the hate on Heroes latley Cheapy? Trying to compare a show like Madmen to Heroes is ridiculous, It's a show about super heroes! When you go see a super hero movie like Spiderman or Superman what are you excpecting? Grade A drama?

I really appreciate how your podcast is quite "meaty" in that you don't skimp out with a wimpy 30 minute show but this one was much longer than an hour. I had to travel home on Wednesday for a family emergency that I didn't want to dwell on so it was nice to listen to both of your viewpoints on the gaming industry/culture as a bit of escapism during the commute.
This is only my third show to listen to but one of my minor "nitpicks" as Wombat would say: -- The show seems to always begin with what has happened recently in both of your lives...I do find myself laughing at all of this and enjoying CheapyD's insight into the oddities of Japan and Wombat's diet but it always is a slow start to the show...new listeners might be turned off by the seemingly irrelevance of a nine pound lobster to the gaming realm and turn off the cast after 5 minutes. I haven't listened to all 155 casts so I'm not going to say you haven't experimented and tinkered with the show's format. These are the impressions of a new listener. I've never bought an Xbox. I respect Xbox live (after recently trying to do online PS3 gaming). But I'm glad you guys said it. The Xbox is a flaming electrical turd. It's an interesting time in gaming: a) Casual gaming is reigning supreme in monthly sales for the Wii b) Microsoft has stopped the indominable Playstation franchise from remaining king c) Sony is well...well...what the hell ARE they going to do? d) PC gaming is still bitchin. Edit: Added 20 minutes later. CheapyD - I thought you defended your position well on the treatment of DLC as of late. I've recently tried to appreciate fighting games more by playing Tekken 5 and others...while I have a PS3 I will probably avoid getting SF4 new because of the poor treatment of multiplayer and the DLC issue. When I booted up Dead Space I was excited about the extra suit content, thinking that it was like the old Soul Calibers in that the PS2 had Heihachi, GC Link, etc...but then I found out I had to buy those suits? No way. No no way. Last edited by ChernobylCow; 03-26-2009 at 12:06 AM.. |

I had an upper and lower GI when I was in the hospital last year.
It was horrible. The contrast was disgusting. I was lucky when I got to take it through a nasal tube. It was cool to see my guts though. |

Whats up Cheapy and Wombat. Congratulations for giving me a reason to skip past the first 15 minutes or so of the show. You fellas have officially jumped the shark when it comes to toilet humor. Where do you go from here?

Man. Eating Cocoa Puffs during all that poop talk was not such a great idea.
Anyways, good show as always. One thing about a recent DLC I'd like to mention is EA's newest addition to FIFA 09 called "Ultimate Team". Basically, Ultimate Team is a card-based mode where you collect player cards, jerseys, logos, stadiums and other sorts of cards to build your own soccer team. The mode clocks in slightly above 1.5GB to download from Marketplace and costs $10, which I was more than glad to play considering how great it was in UEFA Champions League. To me, something like that is a great example of how DLC can work. A brand new mode to add on to a game that extends its lifespan, not something that gets unlocked from the disc. If I plan to dish my money out for something, you better have something I can justify dropping some of my hard earned dough on. And finally, I am a proud supporter of mayo on pizza. I actually enjoy mayo and chicken pizzas when I get the chance. Just order a chicken pizza from your establishment of choice, then put some mayo on top when it arrives. It's really not as gross as you think. Keep up the good work, guys.

You know, now that I think about it, Capcom use to have a pretty good track record with DLC. For example, Lost Planet came out with map packs months after the game was released. Then after a certain amount of time, they made them free which was great. You can still get them for free, although you don't need them if you own the Colony Edition since those are on the disc with other maps and modes. Also in Dead Rising, they would release DLC for outfits for Frank West to wear for free as well. I hope they don't pull the same shit with Lost Planet 2 as they did with RE 5.

Downloadable content
I think we all need to remember that downloadable content is still relatively new idea in the console world. All these publishers are throwing ideas on the wall to see what sticks. EA, for instance, has some of the best ideas (all the free updates to Burnout Paradise) and worst (paying for guns in Battlefield: Bad Company).
However, without concrete sales data we will never know what’s working and what’s not. To a publisher, if it makes 20%, 50% or 100% profit on a piece of content it going to be a success even if they get a lot of criticism from those of us tuned into the gaming culture. I was shocked to hear that Bethesda earned a good chuck of change from horse armor and they view as a sales success (and a reason why it never went free). We as consumers need to share our opinions not only on gaming sites but with our wallets as well. Just say no to overpriced crap and reward those games who are doing it right. The big problem is that a large majority of the PSN or Xbox Live audience never realizes there being taken for a ride. They just see the shiny new bauble and buy it. With no demos or even pictures of some of this content, the consumer only has the description to go on. I think we all can site downloadable regrets because we never really knew what we were buying. |

Love this show, listened to it for about a year now.
The fact that this site catered for UK deals and the the need for me to have a profile so I could view them from Japan made me register. Cheapy's long time spent on his adventures with his poop stick made me want to make my first post. I work in Japan with kids and to ensure that all the staff are healthy and not able to pass on any illnesses to the children I have to go through the poo stick ritual once a month, and I indeed have also experienced the sensation of realising I have just pooped on the floor. Anyway, love the show guys, best podcast out there bar none. Wombat's English accent needs to be implemented more often, it always cracks me up. |

Hey Cheapy 'n Wombat,
I just wanted to give you guys a suggestion for the title of your Twitter segment. "Show us your twats" though funny doesn't quite sound right for something associated with Twitter. As well "Show us your Tweets" is just a bit too normal and really isn't funny at all. So I would like to recommend the title of "Show us your Twits", personally I really enjoy this title for the segment and I hope you'd consider adopting it. I kept thinking I'd hear this come up the first time you came up with the Twitter segment or even in this last episode but you guys never said it. It just seems so appropriate as it sounds mildly crude and should fit the humor of the show. Thanks for any consideration |
