$15 coming out this summer. PS3 demo out this Thursday the 30th, no time table on 360 demo.

Based on the Dreamcast code and the port done by Foundation 9, "it features an optional visual filter that smooths out the game's graphics and new online modes, including Ranked Matches and the Quarter matches found in Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, which allows up to four people to watch and chat while two others fight. It also features widescreen support with the gameplay in a 4:3 field, but the viewing area expanded."

Yes now I can use my PS3 TE stick with this! I guess there will be a load of EBay copies of this game now, although I will just give mine to my older cousin who only has a PS2 and a Wii.

not sure where i stand on this. i mean, its always good to get rare games released for many to enjoy, but personally, i have a ps2 copy and thought it was a very disappointing game, especially after having wasted a fifillion quarters on the original mvc.

that could be due to only have a few friends to play with and they never wanted to play because i would rape them (yea that guy) so maybe online would make it fun, but it didn't work for super smash : /

fighting games just need to be played in person so you can hit people if they beat you.

SSBB's online ing blows, that's why it didn't feel right.... on the other hand, even for great games like SFIV and HDR, I get super addicted for the first month or so after their release and then only play them intermittently after that, which is also due to getting bored of online. but I get my money's worth in that time.

All 56 characters are also unlocked from the get go; no having to leave the system on in training mode and either burn the house down/red ring your console.

I found this thread on the front page at the same time the original one was on it. Anything else you'd like to say?

A leak doesn't equal piracy.

Poor Capcom. They had their big huge surprise announcement pulled out from underneath them months ago.

As far as I'm aware (though to be fair, I don't pay much attention), there is really not much debate over MvC2's actual merits as a quality fighting game. It's an enormous and utter ing piece of shit.

But it is such a goddamn ridiculously fun piece of shit.
