when was the Yu gi oh game free? i know its no longer on the marketplace but never it was free.. :(

It was glitched where if you had already had the demo, you could unlock the full version for 0 microsoft points on the first day. Now if you have the demo and try to unlock it, it's -1 Microsoft points.

Was this mentioned before? I have the demo on my xbox; I guess I missed out.

I tried to look it up and it appears the game was taken down sometime in November.

Apparently Xbox pulled it from the Marketplace back in mid October of 2011. Konami license has expired, and Xbox didn't renew, so they pulled it from marketplace. Luckily I bought the game 6 months ago, and i can still play it. The multiplayer feature is still up and running as well. So I assume they'll be renewing the license with konami soon.
