Its a great deal at all the blockbusters in my area at the moment where you can get any previously viewed dvds 2 for $20 or VHS 2 for $10. I went in today and i got the butterfly effect and hellboy on dvd for $20. Both are over $20 each in any other store i have checked. Its a really good deal

they are always doing that. I work at BB. It is pretty good. However, a few times a year, we do a buy 3 for $25 which is even sweeter. We usually do it on holidays. I've only been working there since May so since then, we have done it on independence day, and labor day.

Yeah, this is indeed old news. If Blockbuster isn't doing 2 for 20...Hollywood Video usually does the same 2 for 20 or 3 for 30.

very old, and i dispise how they package their preowned dvds, no inserts, no covers, its in that shitty blockbuster case, no logos that came with the dvd, just pure crap

Its depends on your location to how they are packaged. Both of my local Blockbusters always have the covers and almost always have the inserts. If you really want the inserts, you can just check another previewed copy.

They do come in those crappy matte finish cases, but if you ask them to switch it with one of the cases they have behind the counter, they dont care. Just tell them how their cases don't open/close very well. Theres usually tons of them in a box or bag.

and all the games are buy 1 get 1 half off (used) im gonna pick up GGX2 they have there for 17 soon

Yah, I hate those Blockbuster cases too. And I have enough of them. lol. I don't understand how none of the dvds I buy there have inserts but like ahlf the video games I buy there have instruction booklets still. Thank god for that though.

Also, I hate when Blockbuster takes a dvd that came in a carboard case and cuts the front and back off and clided it into there own plastic case. No side of the dvd with the title that way, and looks real crappy.

My local BB never has anything I want. :(

I hate the BB cases with a passion I throw them away whenever I can. BB's best DVD deal is 3 DVD's for $25 when they have it.

Kmart have 4 for $18 (most are great titles)

I know that most cities do not have a Hastings, but I got both of those several weeks ago at Hastings from their previewed 3 for $21 racks. So, if you do have a Hastings in your town, check it out. Store Locator.

Most DVD's these days don't have inserts anyway. Almost all of their preowned DVD's have covers and you can always get a new case just ask the manager they throw the regular cases away all the time. I asked once and he gave me like 100 cases.

Everyone remembers my sweet little 1/2 off all used video games at Blockbuster, right?

I was able to put all doubters to shame on that one.

But yeah, when my BB does the buy 3 for $25, I'm always there. $8.33 for a good DVD is always awesome.
