Well I was referring to my pouches and vest and helmet.
but: M4A3 with ACOG, gangster grip (its actually just a normal grip..), laser system with a pressure switch to turn on with my thumb and a Surefire flashlight, also with a pressure switch.

Other gear: Peltor headphones with mic connected to a radio which allows me to talk to my team, while the headphones surpress loud noises like gun discharges but with the built in mics they can pick up sound from the direction you are looking at. So I can have a normal conversation with someone while also shooting and the shooting won't drown out the conversation.

I told them that unfortunately since they denied my request to allow my family to live on-campus with me, that the money I would have donated has to go to paying rent

The floor manager where I work recently sent around an email requesting everyone give 2 dollars a month for a "slush fund" so we can buy gifts, cards, etc. when things happen to people. It's stupid.

The best part is that some of us had not paid- and she sent a reminder email to all of us. One of the woman who hadn't paid had been out of office due to the death of her father. I bet it makes her appreciate those flowers we sent even more knowing she's going to have to help us pay for them.

The money is supposed to go towards students who can't afford their tuition. I could have sworn that's what financial aid is for.

The Army has this thing called the Army Emergency Relief (AER).....which is used by Soldiers that need a loan cause they are going through tough times which they have to pay back interest free. Well the money in the fund is made up from Soldier's donations. The thing is that your leadership always gives you crap duties if you decide not to dooate cause it makes them look bad as leaders if their whole unit doesn't donate. Well not too long ago there was a special on tv how the AER has so much money that they don't know what to do with it. I say how about stop pressuring people into donating to the ing thing in the first place.
