Here's a Liveblog ala ESPN on the biggest game in Frisky's league 2 year history!
Can Rutgers continue the biggest season in school history? Can Texas pull out the stops and have a huge night!! The winner will play either Boise State or Oka in the BCS Title Game!!!!!

1st quarter 0-0 from watching Franky's gamertag on xbox.com!

2nd quarter Rutgers 3, Texas 0

2nd quarter Texas 7, Rutgers 3 (Looks like its going to be a close game!)

2nd quarter Texas 7, Rutgers 10 (BigAT has a HELL of a running game and will more then likely win the Heisman with K. Young)

2nd quarter Texas 7, Rutgers 19 (Rutgers is coming up huge it seems this quarter)

3rd Quarter Rutgers 20, Texas 10 (Game is within reach for both peeps, I think this quarter will decide game)

3rd Quarter Rutgers 27, Texas 10 (I have to give BigAt props using his team at such a high level, Franky, needs to get a few stops to get within striking distance in the 4th quarter

3rd Quarter Rutgers 27, Texas 13 (Franky, has a good passing game with Texas, should be a great 4th quarter!)

4th Quarter Rutgers 27, Texas 13 (Texas needs a defensive stop more then likely)

GG guys look forward to playing you both next season!

Wow, nice coverage of the action!

Rutgers wins the SEC Championship 27-13, finishes up an undefeated regular season and moves onto the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! It should be an exciting matchup against <TBA>. It'll be interesting to see who moves into the #2 spot. In reality, the AP (Media) poll, where Oklahoma is currently #2, doesn't count towards the BCS rankings. I wonder if this is reflected in the game.

Kordell Young has indeed been huge for me the entire season, hopefully he's done enough to earn himself the Heisman, we'll see. It's kind of funny, after showing some flashes early on in his career, the real Kordell Young has been significantly slowed by multiple knee surgeries, to the point that he's currently the #3 RB on Rutgers' depth chart. Obviously he's currently doing nothing even close to his virtual counterpart at the moment.

Congrats on winning the division and good luck in the championship game. I'll advance the dynasty tomorrow, probably laterin the day since I've got some other stuff to do first.

That's awesome great coverage man.

Great game BigAt, this was one of the most enjoyable games I've had online this year. BigAt is good at what he does, he plays right and is an awesome opponent. I think this would have been a hell of a lot better game had I not thrown two deadly picks, my second pick was me just passing a little to early and that really ticked me off but it was my mistake. I think I had to go one dimensional way too soon. Either way he played great and deserves the win.

Unlike the Madden league I can't wait to play next year, there's no drama in this league and I've NEVER seen any questionable code of conduct on the field. I think we have a great group of players here and I like it. Good luck to everyone in their bowl game.

BigAt, I'll see you next year!

BigAt, if you win the title you have to give a shot to redeem myself next year after our close game this season. I hated not taking the field goal, but I wanted to lay it all out there in hopes of ending your unbeaten streak. Though I'll probably get smoked without the CPU helping me with turnovers, heh.

I've advanced the week and since this ends the season, I'll try to post as much information for the Heisman, awards, bowls, etc. as I can.

There is a big upset with the Heisman voting, as favored Rutgers RB Kordell Young finishes in second place to Central Michigan's QB, Dan LeFevour, who had over 4200 yards passing, nearly 1,000 yards rushing, and 51 TD for a surprisingly good year at a smaller school. Here is how the voting went:

Dan LeFevour - QB - Central Michigan - 343 1st, 246 2nd, 142 3rd - 1663 Total
Kordell Young - RB - Rutgers - 244 1st, 254 2nd, 192 3rd - 1432 Total
Sam Bradford - QB - Oklahoma - 118 1st, 183 2nd, 277 3rd - 997 Total
Dazmon Briscoe - RB - Kansas - 42 1st, 60 2nd, 92 3rd - 338 Total
Daryl Clark - QB - Penn State - 20 1st, 27 2nd, 44 3rd - 158 Total

Here are the award winners from the SEC:

Kordell Young - RB - Rutgers - Maxwell, Walker
Sam Acho - LE - Texas - Bednarik, Lombardi
Blake Gideon - SS - Texas - Thorpe

Here are the All-American totals for SEC teams:

Rutgers - 2 1st All-NCAA, 1 Freshman All-NCAA, 6 1st All-SEC, 6 2nd All-SEC
Texas - 2 1st All-NCAA, 2 2nd All-NCAA, 10 1st All-SEC, 5 2nd All-SEC
Florida - 1 1st All-NCAA, 2 1st All-SEC, 4 2nd All-SEC
Georgia Tech - 2 2nd All-NCAA, 1 Freshman All-NCAA, 3 1st All-SEC, 4 2nd All-SEC
Ohio State - 1 2nd All-NCAA, 2 1st All-SEC, 1 2nd All-SEC
Michigan State - 1 Freshman All-NCAA,
LSU - 3 2nd All-SEC
South Florida - 1 2nd All-SEC

I noticed that my safety that was 2nd team All-SEC had 95 ing tackles this season, most for a safety overall. Boise State has a DE with 92 tackles, which is insane.

Here are the Bowls Games for everyone in the SEC:

PetroSun Independence Bowl - Ohio State vs Kansas State - 12/28
Chick-fil-A Bowl - LSU vs Georgia - 12/31
Outback Bowl - Florida vs Michigan - 1/1
Capital One Bowl - Georgia Tech vs Illinois - 1/1
All-State Sugar Bowl - Boise State vs Texas - 1/1
AT&T Cotton Bowl - South Florida vs Nebraska - 1/2
BCS National Championship - Oklahoma vs Rutgers - 1/7

The Heisman winner and MAC Champion (12-1 and #15) plays a week or two before the #2 and #3 MAC teams and before I do, which is a shame that he's screwed by these poorly-planned bowls.

The first two weeks of bowl games have been advanced since none of our games were in there, so here is this week's slate of bowl games:

Ohio State (FriskyTanuki) at Kansas State
LSU (DarkTower80) at Georgia
Florida (Ultimate Matt X) at Michigan
Georgia Tech (S3anAmI) at Illinois
Boise State at Texas (Frankysox)
South Florida (JustnCredible29) at Nebraska

That just leaves BigAT's game to cap off the season, so get your games in. I also wanted to thank XXXplosive1 and Regian for still sticking around a bit while they've had nothing to do, so make sure to stick around as we get into the offseason and get ready for the next season.

Hey Crash, I know it's early but could I put in a request to play Oklahoma next year in the Red River Shootout that takes place every year? Other than that I could care less who I play. I'll get my game in tomorrow or Sunday!

Second place? What happened to the horribly corrupt and biased media that should be stroking the SEC and keeping the little guy down? This game is unrealistic!

I barely beat Neb, I couldn't stop Zach at all and escaped with a last sec FG. 45-43 bulls. Mike Ford, my starting RB saved my ass with 170+ rushing yards!

Wow, just one of those games where everything went wrong. Lost to Georgia 48-36. Starting QB, DE and KR all got hurt, and couldn't tackle the Georgia running back. Kept it close with a huge game from my TE, they kept all out blitzing and left him open right across the middle all game. He ended up with around 300 yards because of a few big plays.

Got my game in.

Where in NCAA do we import rosters for Madden and can we do that with online dynasties? I wouldn't mind importing this file into my Madden franchise for the second year.

It prompts me to save the draft class when I take care of the seniors and underclassmen that are moving on, though I'm not sure if you guys are prompted to do that, as well. The safer way to do it is to probably just save an offline copy of the dynasty and go through that yourself to get the draft class.

Okay well if you can give me a heads up before you save that point I'll go in and try to save a version of the dynasty before that point.

Looks like all the bowl games have been played, you can advance whenever you get the chance.

We are now advanced, so you can play your game when you get the chance, BigAT.

I don't know what happened, but it says we're still in Bowl Week 3 and there's like unplayed games or something. Check it out when you get the chance Frisky, it's weird.

Delete your copy of the online franchise on your harddrive and redownload it.

Thanks, that did the trick.

Rutgers defeats Oklahoma in the National Championship game, 34-21. I got up 21-0 early and managed to hold off OU and their ridiculously superior talent to secure the win and the BCS National Championship.

Thanks to everyone for making this season fun and smoothly run. Time to move into 2010, with the nice addition of this to the Rutgers trophy case:
