To any and all who used the 20% coupon for PS2....I have to agree with the previous poster who said it isn't worth it to return/rebuy. 5%? I bought about $60 worth of PS2 games...it's really not worth my time nor the employees time to return/rebuy for a mere $3.

Quick ?- will this take 25% off the total purchase price of the games, or 25% off each game?

Whether they take 25% off each game or the total, it will be the same price

That really wouldn't make any difference at all. What I am wondering I'm guessing by all the people saying 35% that it is 25% + 10% = 35% rather than 25% then 10%, correct? It would only make a 2.5% difference but just wondering.

Yes, EDGE card is off original price, same as coupon, thus 35%

How do you get this edge card and is it worth it?

Go to gamestop and pay $15.

I say no only because my best friend/roommate has one that I just snatch off him all the time. If you don't know anyone with it and buy from GS a lot then yea get one.

15$ for a year, and you get a game informer year subscription. 10% off used game purchases(always stacks) and 10% extra on game trade-ins. If you're going to trade/buy atleast 150$ of used games in a year, then it's worth it.

If you think you're going to spend $150 on used games at GS within a year, then you probably much already made your money back. Do keep in mind Edge card stacks with almost any promo, so the savings normally come back pretty fast.

The coupon doesn't stack with the deal of the week.

The 25% + Edge discount will be from the stickered price. Though, you can try.

Also, sometimes the GameInformer magazine will have a coupon in it (but it'd probably be up on CAG anyways)

pretty sure it does stack with it, but the discount gets applied as if it were regular price, at least thats what happened to me the one time I bought a deal of the week.

^ The edge card stacks, the coupon doesn't, and you're right the edge takes off 10% off the non-deal price.

Couple of things....

1) No its not 35% off with edge card, discounts does not add together rather its taken one at a time. Its 25% and then 10% off which equates to 32.5%. Not a huge difference but a difference non other the less.

2) Not sure why so many people say/post/claim that this is best coupon etc etc... GS routinely have b2g1 free which equates to 33% off when you buy titles at same price point. 33% > 25% by alot

No, pretty sure its 35%, since EDGE is off original price before discounts, same with coupon. I'll go check some of my receipts now.

EDIT: I guess I stand corrected. Pretty sure I had checked them before and it always came out 35%. Either way, like you said, no big difference.

Does this mean I can get Heavenly Sword for $15? If so, I'm on it!
