Yeah I have to be in work at ten. Toysrus is just 5 minutes from my work so I am just going to go there real quick and blame it on diarrhea and say I was in the bathroom if anyone ask.

I didn't take the day off just to save $10 if that's what you're thinking. I don't work "normal" hours so I probably would have been off anyway but being guaranteed the whole day to play a highly anticipated game is as good a reason for a day off as any.

Not sure if I completely understand your question. I'm not sure on the $20 vs. $30 giftcard, I suppose if you have the proof you are a member of the program they would let you get the $30, or they may make you sign up for the BB rewards program. I think it is all going to depend on your store and the manager at the time.

I price matched my 360 at Best Buy using Target's ad and got a $50 giftcard. What they did for me was deduct the price of the giftcard from the cost of the system and then gave me a $50 giftcard separately. So, you will still end up paying full price, but they just mark the price of the item down to deduct the giftcard so you don't return the game at full price and still have the giftcard.

Hopefully this makes sense and answered your question.

The time window is 10AM to 2PM. I'm sure you can pick up a copy during lunch time? 12 noon.

Unless.... they sold out...

If you pre-order the Batman game, are you guaranteed a copy in-store? I can swing by TRU at lunch, but not in morning. I'm afraid this will be sold out by lunch because of this special promotion.

Oh, that makes sense, thanks. I think I'm just gonna wait till this hits $30, it's all single player, righht?

Didn't Bestbuy just change their policy on price-matching? Do I need to provide a receipt or an ad or circular?

Thanks in advance.

At my store for the Wii Sports Resort gift card promotion a few weeks back they were giving the rewards card members extra $10.00 bonus two days after the initial time frame. And I know they were giving the extra bonus two days later if your were signing up for the card the same time as purchase. There were like 3 people in front of me when I was buying the Tiger Woods bundle and they were all buying the Wii Sports Resort games so I heard the cashier go through all 3 times.

Man, I might have had to bite on that Batman deal but I've got to work. Your loss, TRU. Just like when you wouldn't sell me the $99 Rockband 2 you advertised!

I'll have to try the PS3 Batman demo. If it's any good, I'll be stopping at TRU next Tues.

Heres a good question: if I were to sign up for the Rewards R Us program less than a week before the game comes out, will they apply that for a $30 gift card or say no because I haven't been a member for some bullshit time?

I don't think there's any need to worry about this selling out and keeping anyone from getting in on the early deal. Video games never seem to have that problem

Does anyone know the date that the game is available? The website says it ships on the 25th, but does that mean it will be in store on the 25th or 26th?

No the $20.00 GC is from TRU and the DVD is from BB.

Aye, but the OP should be editing the first post, or the admin who decided to move this thread into the "weekly ad" section advertising it as TOYS R' US...

Those who sign-up for the rewards program shouldn't worry about getting in on the $30 gift card. As soon as you do it online, you can print off a temporary member card until they ship you one...
