That's what was advertised, although in the GCs I visited in my area, all had the shelf sticker price for those games (GB, RE5 etc.) marked down appropriately, so I'm not sure if after the 12th, they will be marked up again back to their original prices. Better be safe than sorry though, so pick them up now if you can...

No gamecrazy in my state. Anyone think they might be able to snag me a copy of RE5 for PS3? Just send me a PM.

If one has Wii version of Ghostbusters, is there a reason to get the HD version... beside HD?

My local HWV has all these games at these prices and they qualify for the $5 off sale. Ghostbusters = 14.99 + tax. Plus I got $7 trade in for God of War II ps2.

IIRC, HWV got rid of most of their newer games and are only selling "budget" titles ($19.99 and under). I think you're lucky that your HWV still had these in stock. HWV having these titles is YMMV.

Anyways, thanks for the heads up. I'll take a look at a couple of nearby HWV for GB since there are no GCs near me. The nearest one (15 miles away) is closing.

Just got back from Gamecrazy. I picked up a copy of Ghostbusters (PS3) for 19.99 and RE5 (PS3) for 24.99. I was really amazed at the professionalism compared to Gamestop, I dont really buy games from GC. The clerk himself wasnt even aware of the price drop for RE5 and I told him to go checkout cag.com. He thanked me.

That's pretty cool. The last time I went into Gamecrazy, the guy greeted me at the door with a copy of World at War and laughed in my face when I told him I didn't play Call of Duty. Then he explained every aspect of Nazi Zombies and Halo ODST, complained about his job, and then "let me in on" the secret concept of pre-ordering.

I can't make it to my local GC until Monday...praying that there will be some copies of Ghostbusters left!

haha, nice. This is how Gamestop should be. Sad to see GC is closing some of their stores.

The clerk was attentive, nice, and even offered to buy my trade in since they didnt accept it but he already had a copy. Even game me alternatives to another B&M store to attempt a trade. Turn down the extended warranty and he quickly moved on. Not pushy, respectful, and courteous. I hope GS is listening.

man this sucks i would def pay $20 for ghostbusters only problem is that there isnt a gamecrazy around me and they dont sell games online.

I got shot down when I tried b2g1, they insisted that it wasn't a current promo & wouldn't try scanning 3 games. So I just picked up RE5 for 19.99 used. Do you need a coupon for the b2g1 and if so where do you get one? Like a true CAG I would go back.

Was able to pick up a used copy of Ghostbusters (360) for $14.xx. Too bad all of my Xbox Live friends are done playing it.

Dang! The one weekend I skip going to GC, and they have this sale I went to pick up games at TRU for their B2G1 free and decided to head home straight to play... should have dropped by GC to put my MVP to more use...
