I've bought a lot recently with Amazon's B2G1 and now their Spend $80/$40 promo. I told myself I'd only buy 2 more games (NSMBW and AC2). I've bought 5 since then (and not those 2) so I'm done for the year. Though I do have a bunch of GS gift cards so...

GS + deal = impossible. I have over $100 worth of gift cards for over a year and just couldn't justify spending there at their 100% msrp 99% of the time for new games. I finally spent $65 of those gift cards on Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 because they had the exclusive costum download code. Otherwise, I would of bought from amazon for $45 at the time. Without the gift card, I wouldn't even consider buying Sigma 2 from them. That's $20 difference for a damn download code. Since then, I have ordered Uncharted 2 and Forza 3 from Amazon for discounted prices as GS didn't offer anything special for those titles at their MSRP prices. I rather pay with my credit card to Amazon with discounted prices than pay with gift card to GS for their retail prices.

Thanks too for me, daminion. I was wondering how good Gamestop was doing. It sounds like they are beating up on Gamecrazy (owned by Video Gallery/Hollywood Video?). I was a little hesitant to trade in six games for a $100 credit to my card this week before looking up Gamestop's financials. This was very helpful (it showed me that Gamestop is indeed quite viable and profitable -- which is a very good thing in this economy).

Sweet, been holding out for this. With the current tiered trade-in bonus running, if this pans out to be true next week it'll work out great. I always wait for the big bonus on trade ins and then hold credit until the buy 2 get 1 rolls out, works out pretty well. I'd much rather buy used than new when possible. Thanks for the headsup!

I got about $300 in credit to unload. Mini Ninjas is a must for me since my Best Buy had every single freaking game EXCEPT that one!!! Man I was pissed!

Did you see this in store or online? When I search for borderlands used on the website, it tells me the store where it's available but when I call them, they say they don't have it.

This will be a good chance to build up my PSP library. Here's to hoping the games I want will be in stock, complete with covers and manuals.

I may actually have to pass on this B2G1F deal for the first time in a year. Not enough cash with all dough I've been spending.

Online, doing a search like you did. But the other post made it sound like GS shouldn't be showing ANY used games anywhere for 30 days after release. I didn't try calling.

Anybody know if Gamestop's prices onlike in used prices are same as in store now like how a used copy of Brutal Legend is $50? I just noticed on the Gamestop site how used games seem to be cheaper now is why i was asking.

has anyone confirmed this? considering these deals typically start at 7pm on Thursday I'd of assumed that we would have had confirmation by now.

I always expected they would end their quarter with a B2G1, but i'm surprised we don't have any confirmation yet.
