I've been around most of the day. Not many others have been on. It looks like the calm before the Black Ops storm. I'm hoping we get a good turn-out Wednesday and Friday.

Who's getting Black Ops? I was going to wait until my cousin got it but if enough of the old CAG group I used to play with are playing it...

Meh. Not enough of a change from MW2 to justifying the $60.

You must be on crack or very uninformed. Everything that makes MW2 such a frustrating experience is fixed in black ops. Its worth the 60 and then some.

In for Black Ops....a dedicated server gets my attention....I no longer have to b!tch about having to watch a cam to see how I died.

I'm sure everyone was waiting on pins and needles for my decision, but yeah, I'm in for Black Ops.

From an overall cheapness perspective, the amount of time I played MW2 and ignored all of the other games I bought since then + the fun I have playing with a good group + the stuff I learn to actually get better at the game = best overall cost per minute of gameplay/fun ratio. Narrowly beating out Fallout New Vegas and Rock Band 3. That and zambies. Never did play world at war.

I'm definitely in for Black Ops. I don't think it'll be prettier than MW2 but it looks to be a different kind of beast. I think the new frustration is going to be in the wager matches and getting enough credits. Where as MW2 moved you along regardless, you're responsible for carrying your own weight.

Yeah I'm all in for Black Ops (though I'm not sure how many of you remember me :P). I just got MoH and I'm having a blast in it already. Plus I have the week BO comes out off, so I'll be playing it late/monday/early tuesday thanks to midnight releases.

I miss playing good FPSes.

Soo, World at War, $19 on Amazon gold box. Worth it? I've only ever played Cod 4 & MW2. Would this be a good warm up for Black Ops? Are treyarch games vastly different than IW?

I loved world at war.

World at War was great for sure, and I loved the multiplayer. You got the change laying around, get it.

I just finished Medal of Honor's single player campaign. I'll definitely blog about this one, sorry for missing out on tonights game night but the campaign is awesome but short.

It's not an MW2 killer in any terms of either SP or MP but the multiplayer could use a lot more polish. It's far better than BFBC2 requiring a whole clip to put somebody down, except there's a shit ton more snipers(I'm one of them!).
