Yeah:
Book of Eli was great, The Road just came out on Dvd the other day and is really good but different, kind of like how No Country For Old Men was different. The book though of The Road, in my opinion was much better than the movie.

Unthinkable - Sam Jackson was spot on...good movie. Makes you think torture is justified in some extreme situations.

Psycho
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events Psycho was the Hitchcock version, not the remake. I'd never watched it in it's entirety. Fantastic film. As for LSaSoUE, I enjoyed this as well. A shit ton of cameos in this movie, including Dustin Hoffman who has basically 3 lines and Craig Ferguson who, if I'm remembering correctly, DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK. |

THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE - what the
 ?!?!?!I believe this is probably the most sick and twisted movie I have ever seen. The general story is that there is this german christoper walken look alike evil genius that wants to put 3 humans together. Ass to mouth to share one digestive tract. I don't wanna say it sucked because I couldn't stop watching it and it freaked me out big time. It's like the first time you saw "Saw" and the ending left you a bit sick in the stomach. Well, the whole movie makes you feel that way and just gets worse. The acting is horrible except the evil genius (really great, IMO). I was laughing alot in the beginning due to the acting. If you are looking for a type of movie that just gets you freaked out after watching it, this is it. This is not for the feint of heart because it is just GROSS. Not what they show (gorey but not too much) but just the whole idea of the movie. I haven't been so freaked out over a movie in a long time. Like I said, it's not a bad movie because its a scary movie and this shit delivers. Now, before I finish this post I just want to say...Feed her! Feed her! lol |

Golden Slumbers (JP 2010) - Surprisingly good, a little bit hokey but strikes a good balance, a good conspiracy fast paced thriller about a man on the run for being framed. Also takes place in Sendai, a place I was just in this past week so I recognized some areas.
Shutter Island - Good.
