I was looking forward to trying this out when I got back today only to be unable to find it on the marketplace anywhere... Am I going crazy or is it not there?

Whoops. Emailed the dev and it got delayed at the last minute for some reason. :( Also damn, somebody should comment on the stories I do about the game at Co-Optimus - I thought nary a soul cared about this one.

Darn that is a shame! Thank you for looking into it.

Yeah I usually do not comment much on many forums about them but I love XBLA titles. I hope each week there is something new to try out and this one caught my eye from a while back and I was looking forward to trying it!

Hopefully I can play it soon.

Looked into the situation more and wrote this article on it:

Kung Fu Strike won't appear in March, but it's still fighting

Looks like this came out for PC yesterday but not to XBLA until September!

My Kung Fu Strike review is live. Good idea to read before buying...

wow...that select screen and even the artwork looks so SFIV.

I read the review, is there any level up mechanic or equipment?

You buy new moves and a few upgrades like extra health in the shop between missions. Also, like I say in the review you can buy a few pieces of equipment that have extremely minor effects like reducing projectile damage by 25% or increasing damage done after a counter by 30.

Yeah, I actually like the art style pretty well (beyond the terribly boring story scenes).
