i dont mind playing 50 waves of horde later. we could whip through that private, casual, with mutators on. Unless it doesnt work in private? Ill be back on after 8pm ET. Maybe knockout some ribbons while we do it? I still need revive 4 guys in a wave. Think thats the only one im missing for horde.

I was playing frosty, its pretty fun. Some dude was crying how we were using pistols, becase we dont know how to use the hammerburst. LOL Are you kidding me? Hammerburst is so easy to use in frosty. I mainly stick with the pistol because im about 70 headshots from gold medal. But its pretty fun. Only thing that sucks is "ENEMY FORCES" and you get hammer-raped in the back.

7th Number, invite me when you're going to do Horde. It works in Private Matches and with Mutators, and I can teach you a neat trick about Escalation Horde. Makes it so easy.

I Gotcha is easy; Friendly Fire on, melee everyone and revive when down 4 times before Wave 1 starts.

Thanks to everyone who helped out tonight. Especially ebbtide for helping me get the last few ribbons i needed. Im happy to say i have 100% ribbons! WOOOO

I still need the achievements for doing beast mode on most of the new maps. I only did one but i forget which one it was. If anyone feels like playing beast on the new maps, ill be happy to join.

I meant to show this in Horde, but we never got the Challenge Requirement.

If you have to execute 8 enemies, you can actually do this using only 4 infantry. Down an enemy, and then Meatshield them. That counts as one execution. Then, if you have a grenade (even a smoke), bag and tag them and it counts as a second execution.

This is awesome if you have a Lambent shield. I know you can't get them ordinarily, but in the Horde 51+ Wave plus game I was in you could. They become a mobile bomb if you were surrounded. Downside, of course, is that if your Lambent shield dies, it'll kill you in the resulting explosion.

And if anyone else needs to do the Recruit Clayton and Savage Marauder achievement, I need those as well (and I still have a second controller so I can count as 2).

Gah, I need another 3 Ribbons, all from Beast. Those will be tricky due to how Epic changed it for the worse.

After that, it'll be up to the good people of the internet to find another XP trick for re-upping and Seriously 3.0 which I already know about

Yeah, thanks to 100xp, PackedOsprey, popular penguin, and Guitarman for helping out last night in Horde. It was actually so easy that it was kind of boring, hehe.

I still need to get the Minh executions, 500 rocket kills, shield reflects, and like 16 ribbons. -__-" Some of these achievements just suck.

You guys are really good. I wanted to watch, from the 2nd to the highest landing, how you guys worked but I kept hearing tickers, boomers, and grinders coming from the top of the stairs. I know you guys had to come rescue me a few dozen times.

Thanks again, it was really fun and nice to be in a group where nobody was out their for themselves but rather working as a team for the win. Wished I could have stuck around longer.

BTW...Does it seem like Tickers aren't slowed down as much by the barriers now? I've seen Tickers come flying through the spiked barriers whereas in the past the barrriers would give me time to setup for the kill.

I never did get that Monkey-Dog ribbon. :P But, it's one of like 40 that I still need. So no rush.

oi. I think I played 1-50 horde then 19-50 horde right after + beast and more horde after. gg both groups. thanks for letting me mash 183/500 rockets as well.

it was nice for a change to learn a couple of new tricks as well as figure out more of the locust's potential. I was waiting for jace to say, "d'man is keeping me down."

I have a few more horde ribbons to get (the last hope one I think and maybe 2 others) and I think maybe 1 more beast one as well. I'm always down for beast mode, I find it the most enjoyable out of the modes.

Haha, I think I just realized why someone gave me $5000 in horde...I gotta do that next time.

it's funny, I thought because I was hotdropped in at wave 19 it was just a courtesy so I could actually buy and repair stuff in my area. I said, "thank you kind sir" and then proceeded to mash and protect the silverback.

ive beaten beast mode on slab and academy. Did academy by myself on casual. Ended up winning with 20 seconds left. LOL. Its not too hard but i know with more people it would be faster/easier.

Beast is like FF, with a decent group of 4 or cap it's 15 mins (or less) of hulk mash cog. it should never take longer than that unless you're boosting or doing it on the harder difficulties.

It was. I gave 5000+ each to Fire Dragon, Ryu, and you, as well as bought and upgraded the Silverback for 7th. You can only get it once per game, but I have several of those ribbons already.

I only have to upgrade the Silverback to Level 5, so I had a lot of money but no use for it. I wasted it on an Onyx Guard near the end, just so that we had one more gun (even if he can't Super Reload). I like that you can actually revive the Onyx Guard, too.

I still have to play Beast Mode on the new maps. If you need to as well we can easily get that for you. It's much harder on the higher waves that we we trying it on last night because the Heros get downed and need to be executed. If you try to do it on Wave 1 or 2 it's easier because Stranded die in one explosion. Just have 4 people play as Tickers and you be the Wretch, and you'll definitely get it.

Tight maps like Checkout or Gridlock work really well for it.

Also, if someone needs Pop Goes the Weasel, this is the same strategy you should use, but probably with 4 Wretches and 1 Ticker.

Also, I'm up for playing this weekend and some tonight if you guys need a player. I'm open to about any game type.

If only Campaign/Arcade XP was doubled as well, it'd be a good opportunity to grind out King of COG Onyx Medals

Isnt horde the best way to level up? Might do some of that if its true. I still need a few horde medals.

Horde Medals Needed: Gold/Onyx # of Waves, Onyx Point Man
Beast Medals Needed: Onyx # of Waves, Gold/Onyx Motivator, Gold/Onyx Dismantler, Gold/Onyx Investor, Gold/Onyx High Roller

Horde is the best way to level up since XP goes up every 10 waves. If you did all 50 waves, you'd earn about 90k in XP normally.

They really need to have a double/triple Progress weekend for Kills/Ribbons/Medals though. The grind is just really bad right now.

I should also find someone to boost Capture/Rescue Leader Medals with. Mainly since I don't have the Bronze Rescue Leader Medal yet.
