Interestingly it's by Starbreeze.

I remember playing Enclave on a rental for the xbox back in the day , only thing I really remember about it was that it was fairly hard. Never knew it was made by Starbreeze though. Will probably get it when/if it eventually goes on sale.

I like it a lot on the original xbox in my teen years, there's definately a lot there for fans of hacking and of slashing. There's supposed to be a wiimake comming out in the next few months and the remake is being done by Topware (Two Worlds). If you're interested, have a Wii and are willing to throw a few more dollars at the game, then I'd suggest waiting to see how the port turns out, otherwise this is well worth $6.

Hadn't heard about that wii-port being worked on. Funny all the older last-gen games that they are porting over to the wii (this , Rogue Trooper , Rygar). Might have to at least check that out whenever it finally releases.

I never even heard of this game until I picked up the Xbox version for 50 cents the last day my local Hollywood Video was opened. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll move it up my backlog list.

I think I may go for it after finding out Starcraft 2 has activation :-/ Made me realize I need to rely on GOG more than ever :(

Idiots at Activision...Starcraft 2's single player seems to be made for me specifically, but no sale here.

How does Enclave compare to Diablo 2 and Torchlight?

Diablo/Torchlight are hack'n'slash action RPGs. Enclave's action is much more of the action-adventure type. All are more of the linear, story-driven type than the open-world of Two Worlds (Elder Scrolls, Gothic, etc.).

Whoa, the graphics in that look pretty great. I know the Xbox version was supposed to be horrible, but I've heard the PC one is good. Maybe I'll buy that and Enclave.

What happened to good OLD games? Anyhow, not a great price considering GoGamer has it for about $5 during most the madness sales.

A couple of year old game on GOG doesn't bother me. I think GOG feels that it's main purpose is to get games out without DRM.

Now IMO, the $9.99 price is a bit much. I can find this game new on disc at that price. As a matter of fact I bought the original LE from GameStop for $9.99 just before the new edition (in the slim dvd case) was released. But this does have the DRM removed. And since most of the glitches were attributed to the drm, this should play pretty nice. I'm gonna have to play this game again. I didn't get very far in it.

EDIT: Thanks xyury for pointing out that this is the Epic Edition. I missed that myself.

I don't care when the games are from. In that thread asking for comments I said I'd be totally willing to buy new, full priced games through GOG. I just like that it's DRM free, and I'm free to buy anything there without wasting tons of time figuring out whether and how the game's crippled :-/

Two Worlds is a pretty fun game if you can get past the wonky interface and terrible voice acting. $10 is quite fair for the Epic Edition.

This practice reminds me of the game lines "Sold Out!" and "Xplosiv". If
I recall correctly, they specialized in B-rated games that didn't sell
super well, but had something of a fan base.

Still, I'm a bit torn. I guess we can see what happens next. Just
don't flood the site with casual games.

Aren't those EU companies that do that? I don't see hardly any of those around here unless it was GoGamer which imports quite a bit of those titles.

Anyways, it's nice that GoG is getting more, but I agree, stay true to the good ones... I don't want to see crap on there.

My problem with Two Worlds is that they hyped up Atari, we got some good titles along with some real shit ones (MOO 3), and now it seems that is all Atari is bringing to the table at the moment.

I was expecting maybe some other old, classic Atari games but instead I am greeted with Two Worlds, which is available on every other download site. Ugh. I know it's DRM free on GoG and all, but I'd rather get games that are unique to them and are remade for the Windows environment to function correctly.
