I was expecting maybe some other old, classic Atari games but instead I am greeted with Two Worlds, which is available on every other download site. Ugh. I know it's DRM free on GoG and all, but I'd rather get games that are unique to them and are remade for the Windows environment to function correctly.
The deal with GOG is that they don't get the luxury of cherrypicking a publisher's offerings. If a publisher says "hey here are the titles you get", they don't get to go "we will take Blood/Master Of Orion but Two Worlds...no that. That game blows"

The more games on the site, the more likely someone will find something they like and will buy it. I'm not sure why there is griping about the "good games" vs "bad games." It's business. Like Sporadic wrote, GoG isn't a large enough company to be demanding much of anything.

Anyways, it's nice that GoG is getting more, but I agree, stay true to the good ones... I don't want to see crap on there.
Yup, those are UK companies. I don't know if they are still operating or not. They were releasing older games, and newer
B+ titles, some years before Steam, Direct2Drive, and of course, GOG.

Then buy something else this week. Besides, they don't remake the games. They just pack them with DOSBOX and maybe patch them if needed.

I see them at my local Micro Center. And some stores on Amazon have them too. I got my copy of Fallout Trilogy from a UK publisher ($17.XX including shipping) well before it was released in the US from a store on Amazon. You can currently get the UK versions of the new releases of older D & D games (Baldur's Gate 1/2 and Icewind Dale 1/2) for reasonable prices on Amazon too.

Pretty cool, though I can't say I like the average price of GOG games creeping up.

There's another $9.99 offering for us today, with the action-RPG-strategy of Star Wolves. OP updated with info.

Woohoo! I hope I-War 2 isn't too far behind.
I-War 2 for me ranks right up there with Freespace 2, Tie Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance.

So they're space flight sim type games like Wing Commander 1-4? I'd never heard of them, and honestly from the graphics it looks too confusing for me. (Heck, I'm not 100% sure I'd still be able to make heads or tails out of Wing Commander 4 )

Dang, that's cool! I 'bought' it for Steam because of that sale last fall where it was <$10, but I'm buying this version both to support GOG, and because I think I'm really going to like it.

I'm hoping GOG will rework more adventure games like Noir, Dark Seed and Black Dahlia.

Panzer General on the XBLA was pretty good (The trial at least). Not sure that I would pay $10 for a board game on the computer though.
