I see they only have it for the standard edition. It wouldn't hurt to ask though.

It was just posted in the Amazon credit thread in Deals section that Amazon has it up for Legendary and Limited edition, $20 dollar game credit with pre-order.

Hello, I'm sorry for any misunderstanding regarding the promotions. I checked the description of the Halo Reach Legendary Edition offer and see that you're eligible for $20.00 promotions. The promotion code will be applied directly to your Amazon.com account up to two (2) business days after your product ships.

So do we have to do anything because it says that the $20 game credit is valid on all existing orders. Will it just be given automatically after the 2 days or should I email them (figuring automatically)?

No you don't have to do anything, once the game ships you'll receive the credit after 2 days. You'll get an email about the credit and when you have to use it by. Once you order a new game it'll show up as a credit. I plan on putting it towards the next zelda game if it's on amazon for preorder by then.

So, yeah.

April 28th, a phone rep made an order of it for me. He said he would be adjusting it to the $59.99 price.

Now, after having an email ignored, I hit up a chat rep and they won't honor this. Because this phone rep did it over the phone, I don't have a paper trail proving this.

I'm getting completely frustrated with this. But I will be calling in again now because:

1) Others have had it honored
2) I had a phone rep who had me on hold for an hour, came back saying he had created an order of the LE on my account (which he never asked if he could do) and then stated he would be adjusting the price and to have a nice day.

3)He never adjusted the price.
4)I'm too angry and I've wasted too much time.

Blegh.

Alan Wake is a good suggestion. I don't think I would've given this game a second thought (maybe picked it up real cheap someday). But the CE looks cool and this is $20 that just fell into my lap.
