TRU ad 5/16-5/22

Red Dead Redemption 10am-2pm Reward members - $25 gift card Tuesday

IIRC $10 gift card Tuesday (all day) for Split/Second and Prince of Persia Forsaken Sands

Also, some iPod Touch promotion... sorry, I saw the ad six hours ago and remembered what I could.

Oh, and some TRU stores now give store credit for dvds and blu-rays as well as for video game hardware and software.

Woah, I may actually get it on RDR with a $25 gc. I didn't really want it, but that's an awesome deal.

Well, I guess that ends the whole "where should I pick up RDR" debate I was having.
Thanks, OP - when you've got 3 little ones at home those TRU gift cards come in handy!

does someone know how online return orders work at the store? Also, do most TRU carry Splinter Cell Conviction? I want to return it from the deal in which you got L4D 2 free. And use the credit to buy RDR with a the giftcard. Basically, I just show up with receipt and game and they should give me credit right or should I say I got it as a gift.. Did anyone try returning L4D 2 at the store for credit and gotten the 39.99 it shows on the receipt? I think I read someone tried doing that and TRU only offered like 2.99 for that game since you got full credit for SCC.

On one hand, I have 30 dollars in Gamestop credit.

On the other hand, a 25 dollar gift card is fantastic.

Decisions, decisions.

I'd go for tru, since you can always use the $30 credit to a future game in gs that tru don't offer GC.

Hm... I wonder if the TRU or GS deal (25% off, $10 GC) is the better deal.

Heck yes I think I will be picking it up now even though another game is unnecessary. I have a $20 gift card to blow and getting it for $40 plus a $25 gift card sounds awesome. Thanks Op

Nice. Wasn't sure about getting RDR right away but this deal is tough to pass up. Wish they had something for Alan Wake too though.

I would not be surprised if they matched SMG 2 with $20 GC the week after. I'm still sticking with Amazon Golden Gun, $20 GC, not wasting gas, and my time to go to the store.
