It depends on what KIND of drink they were having actually. 5 shots of something might be a hell of a lot stronger then a couple beers. But if it is beer then okay.

Actually one shot has the same alcohol as 1 beer assuming its not a trainer beer or one of the high alcohol content ones. Unless they were shot gunning 151 or Everclear and I've only met a handful of people who could take either straight.
Mainly I was giving Ms. Highschool shit since she's underage and perhaps trying to look cool by stating that she just went out drinking.  |

Right. But also depending on the size of the glass, it could've been more. I don't know, she could have a full 16 oz glass of vodka at her friends house or something. I guess it's just not safe to assume. >_< |

Well normally you don't count glasses like that. Anyhow 5 16 oz glasses of vodka would kill pretty much anyone so its safe to assume it wasn't that much. Basically a drink is considered one shot, one beer but yes if she went to a bar (which she didn't since she's under 21) she could have drinks made that contained more then one shot of alcohol. |

Thanx for coming to my defense, xDZx. And thanx for coming to my....offense, zion. Just to clarify, I guessed on the amount my b/f had. Also, they were all in 1 line, so it looked cooler that way. I only had two of them, and thats all it took me to get drunk. He didn't get drunk, he only got buzzed, cuz the party was at a place he was unfamiliar with, so he wanted to be okay to drive. Also, he's goin to a Halloween party tomorrow, and he doesn't wanna over do it,so he can save some sobriety for that party. Oh, and it was a kegger, so we drank beer. 1 beer (12 oz., I think) has the equavalent of a 1.5 oz mixed drink, since that's what he'll be having at the Halloween party. I asked him to take a count, but he always forgets how much he drinks anyway. He usually stops counting at around 5, from what I've noticed.
