Actually you should be buying all of the above. The game comes with a case and manual, and you should get both. However as long as you stick with the current gen consoles and avoid PS2 and portables most of the games do come with the case and manual. Mostly it is the newest release games that lack a guarantee.

oh and guaranteed doesn't mean anything. I got lucky with my past orders that I was trading in coming all complete, but I ordered Afrika last week guaranteed and it came with nothing. After talking with help@gamestop.com they just said I could ship it back with a prepaid label and get refund/replacement. I just returned it/rebought it today so we will see if I get the guaranteed coverart/manual this time.

Not being guaranteed a case/manual online has never deterred me from buying a current-gen game. If one does come incomplete, it's as easy as going to one of the Gamestops close-by and having them exchange it for you.

The coupons are coming from some of the sales GS has been having, there is another thread that talks about specifics. They were selling games like LBP: GOTY and it came with a $10 future game credit. These future game credits stack with nothing but edge. The list has dwindled since it first started. I got one from GoW Collection and have 2 more coming for SMG2 and RDR. They are ok if used right.

The coupon can be USED on used games. The wording you're probably referring to just means you need to order a new copy of an eligible game to RECEIVE the coupon.
