I'm looking to go to Suncoast and getting the first episodes of Dragon Ball. I just want to know how much I'll probably be spending for it. If you know of prices for the first few sagas of the show and what episodes they have, please post them.

Are you planning on purchasing the whole series? I'm just wondering if you have any idea what that would cost? You are looking at over 300 dollars for just Dragon Ball, and even more if you are going for higher. The first 13 episodes retail for 30 I believe in a box set.

I'm just looking for the prices for the first few sagas, I know I don't have enough for the whole series.

Do you already like the show? I personally can't stand it but if you like it, go for it, like i said, first 13 episodes SHOULD retail for 30. I think Best Buy had the set for 15, but suncost never has good prices so I don't think it would be less than 30. But if you haven't seen the show and are buying it to try it out, don't waste your time, buy the manga, it is awesome, one of my favorites.

Agreed, Suncost is a rip-off. You pay retail price and tax too. I suggest ebay or maybe deepdiscountdvd.com especially if they doing that 20% off sale. :P

are you talking about dragon ball or dragon ball z. The dragonball episodes are pretty cheap, the dragonball z ones are not. i have the first four sagas on vhs if you want to make a trade for them. They are all int he original boxes and i put those plastic covers on them.

Damn, I might need to check out Wal-Mart, but I didn't see it last time I was there. I went to the local BB, but they only had one DB DVD and it was not the beginning episodes.

I have seen the show, watched every episode that was shown during it's short CN run. I loved it more than DBZ, and I want to revisit it again since these episodes will most likely never be shown again.

I'm bumping this up because I'm looking for the cheapest place for the second saga of DB, the Tournament Saga, I believe. Any leads?

Any news of when Funimation has the rights to release the CN version of Saga of Goku on DVD? I've heard 2004, but it's almost over, and I really want to get that version.
