This is MUCH better then the Blockbuster deal 2 for $20.

Hastings has it where you buy one used DVD you get the second one for a penny!

Hastings also puts preowned DVD"s out a lot sooner than BB. Most new movies are priced at $15 so for $15.01 you can get 2 new release DVD's like Walking Tall, Man on FIre, The Passion, Punisher, and more!

Oh...and I want to mention the Star Wars DVD"s were $9.99 used each. I got Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi for only $10.01! Then I got the oriignal Star Wars ands Starsky and Hutch for only $10.01

I don't know if this deal is YMMV but I do know that the Hastings in Denton, Texas is doing it. The signs looked professional made so I am assuming all Hastings are doing this.

i would never pay a penny for starsky and hutch! good deal none the less.

Starsky and Hutch was great.

YMMV on the quality of those DVD's, I don't think it's all of them. Hastings misprices shit all the time, so good work on the Star Wars. My Hastings broke up Apprentice and sold each for 9.99 but with the buy 1 get 1 for a penny, the total comes out to a little over 25 with tax etc, but without the box itself its not worth it. Is this on ALL DVD's? If so, I think Guessed will have a good Saturday..

The Star Wars deal is a go. You can get the whole set for 29.99 at my local Hastings as well. They've got a sticker on them telling the cashiers to ring them up as individual discs at 9.99 each...

There is a website but I've never used it so I can't tell you much else. However, they list Star Wars as $48.99 so it doesn't look like they have the pre-played stuff on there.

I checked out the site and they have a used dvd section that had most movies for $10 but I couldn't find a way to activate the buy one get the other for 1 cent. I guess it is B&M only.

Where you supposed to laugh? I don't know the movie but the series wasn't a comedy show.

Hastings does this once in awhile. I know I got some good stuff last time they did it here. I'll have to go by my local store tonight.

Think if you could find the Star Trek season box sets used how little you could get nearly every episode of Star Trek for.

Not likely. Most boxed sets wouldn't be part of the pre-owned deals simply because they aren't traded in often. Only reason Star Wars is part of it is because they were rentals first. Also, the set doesn't include the 4th disc that's all extras. It's just the 3 movies.

At my hastings, the 4th disc is bundled with Return of the Jedi

Went tonight.. holy shaq-fu, there were a LOT of 6.99 and 9.99 DVD's as well for this "buy one get one for 99cents".. I mean recent stuff, too! Great stuff! There were also some odd used game markdowns, such as Crimson Skies, Sims: Bustin Out, and PGR2 all for $5.99 each.
