If anyone is looking for an amazing point-and-click adventure game, get this pack: http://store.steampowered.com/app/37400/ Ben There, Dan That! and Time Gentleman, Please! are the best adventure games I've played, with the best humor I've ever in a game. I paid full price ($5) and it was the best $5 I ever spent. Definitely worth 2.50.

That's $2 at Newegg FYI.

Nothing I need from this sale, but Killing Floor is worth $5 TBH.

Didn't they only run out of keys for Prey (which seems to be sold out again right now)? Has this happened with any other game?

Yeah I'm going to wait until the last day and pick up daily deals until then. No real need to hurry now.

Hoping for some good deals on Borderlands DLC.

It has happened a few times before. I still have this in my photobucket from one of their old sales:

One person buys the 4-pack and gifts 3 of the copies to the others through steam in return the 3 who are getting the gifts send money to the purchaser (typically through paypal).

Killing Floor is definitely worth $5. I bought it last year and traded a user a wii shop channel game for it back when it was $8. Great game. Spent about 40 hours on it. In fact, I'm going to DL it right now. But I'm trying to save money so I can preorder Crysis 2 or NFS hot pursuit for my PS3. But I'm tempted to get The Witcher :(

Hm. Interesting. Was that game then out of the picture for the remainder of the sale, or did they restock the keys before the end of the festivities?

They still let you purchase the game but I'm not sure if that would be the case for any game that ran out of keys.

Does buying this way make the price cheaper ?? and if so , does this way of purchasing games work on ALL games on Steam ?

My god, Steam is ran by bastards. I thought I had until Thanksgiving to save up some dough for a sale like this. Dirty rotten bastards.

Why don't you look at the price of the four pack and figure it out for yourself?

Also, only certain games offer four packs. It's a way to encourage people to buy multiplayer games since they'll have friends to play with.

Yes 4-packs are cheaper per unit but only a handful of games have 4-pack offers (generally they are coop/multiplayer focused titles). For example, at the moment one copy of Borderlands is $22.49 while the 4-pack is $67.47 (or $16.87 per copy) saving each person $5.62.

If a game has a 4 pack offer available it will be listed on the product page.

Is anyone else having problems logging in? I'm trying to buy Bioshock 2 and it won't let me log into my account...

The price does turn out to be cheaper. However, you 4-packs are only available for specific games. You can often find them for games that have 4-player co-op, like Left 4 Dead and Borderlands. They also may have the 4-pack for multiplayer games like Shattered Horizon.
