I'm seriously contemplating on getting it. I've got Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for Game boy Advance so I heard that you can get all kinds of goodies once you link them in between. (Need a link cable, but still) I was just wondering if anyone had already gotten it out there, and what you thought of it?

I just came from getting it, man was it long to get it. See I had done the trade 4 and get it free, well the guy that did it somehow had sold it to me. As in given to me that day (which was Feb 15th and of course impossible). He was giving it to me, and I was on my way to my car when I noticed that the reciept said "Pokemon Colloseum", so I went back and the same guy who "sold" it instead of pre-purchased basically gave me the wrong receipt. If I had not gone back, I wouldn't have been able to get Pokemon because it would have said that I had already picked it up. So it wasn't in the system as a pre-order, so the guy that know more about everything had to do all these major changes. I didn't mind, as long as they fixed the whole thing. Anyways, the game is on the table in the living room, probably not gonna be opened until a year like I normally do...I dunno I have a sickness...buy games and don't play them till they are player's choice or greatist hits-anitis. I need a cure.

Interestingly enough I was talking to an EB employee and he was saying that he was getting hassled for the past month or so about Harvest Moon. He said its pretty rare considering that almost all GC owners want it for lack of anything better to play. So consider yourself lucky if you have it.

You sure could save a ton of money by just waiting a year to buy it instead. Anyway, I've played it a little bit and it looks pretty good. Can't divulge much yet because I haven't played enough to do so.

Well you may be right, but with the trading though I paid about 25 bucks for it. Same with Pokemon, and as I said in another thread, I basically got Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for 15 bucks. I just want to play it with people, that is the only reason I haven't played that one.

My EB only had 7 copies of this game total, not sold, just total. Cause they were trying to account for it during the whole ordeal earlier.

My EB looked like they had about 10 copies, including pre-orders.

That's because EB sucks and have no clue what it is doing.

So I just received Havest Moon in the mail yesterday, and Gamestop didn't send my free cow! :( I preordered back in January. So I emailed them. I know what they are gonna say, "Limited Supplies". I thought someone had posted on here that they got it soon after they preordered, but when I emailed them they said it ships with the game. It was just a let-down cuz I would have waited to buy HM, but I thought the bonus offer was fun.

I'm still psyched about the game, and can't wait to get started (when I finally have the time). Anyone else preorder and not get their little cow?

I have it. My fiancee (big HM fan) and I think that it's the best one so far.

I preordered from my local B&M EB and didn't get the cow either. They guys know me there tho, and they may have just forgotten, so I'm gonna stop back by today and see if they still have one.

I preordered Champions of Norrath about the middle of the year last year tho, from Gamestop, and I still didn't get that stupid calander. Not that it's that big a deal, but I KNOW I preordered early enough that I should have gotten it, limited supplies or not.

Got a reply. Apparently Gamestop is getting in a shipment this week. So just in case anyone had the same problem, that's the word.

Like my hubby D4rkewolfe says,I am currently trying to play Harvest Moon and Colosseum off and on, but I have one question about HM: How do you make butter and cheese?? Takakura told me I could get a better profit from selling it, but I dont have a churn or any other way to make it. Any help?

Hint. Don't bother with crops except for recipes.
Buy Tree seeds as soon as you can, and then get the seed maker (either buy getting it gifted to you or buying it) as soon as it is available.

So Katt, are you going to convice Wolfe to get you HM:AWL For Girls or FOMT for Girls whent they come out?
