about to order my 5th 100 pts. prize after midnight. I've gotten 300 of the points so far and it instantly redeemed into my GT however the other 100 pts. I ordered so far I haven't seen.

I've not seen any points. I've ordered 200 points so far, but have not got any of them What's average turn around time? If it's in the thread, I missed it and I do apologize.

Darn.. my GT is tied to my brother's hotmail so I guess I can't get the MS points. I guess I'll tell him to sign up for this and get some points for me lol.

I've already ordered 500 and have received nothing. No points on my GT, no points in my email, my emails are being returned and avoided, and my service request was closed without resolution and when I re-opened it it just went ignored.

I really hate this damn service.

No points for me yet, and I signed up and redeemed my initial points within hours of this thread being posted... sigh...

I signed up nearly a week ago and still no points for me either.

Just like others, I redeemed 300 points within the first day of this thread's creation and haven't received a thing aside from the automated emails telling me my points were being processed. Hm.

nothing here too :(

We're all annoyed, but I think some of you are forgetting that A) it's a preview, of course it isn't going to work properly, and B) it's Microsoft, of course it isn't going to work properly.

Really? Mines still here and just completed my searches for October 2nd.

Have redeemed 500 Points so far and waiting for more info on when Bing will get back to actually trying to distribute everyones points. If this reward system keeps going I might wait on getting Dead Rising Case Zero and go for something thats 800 Points or more. Still 250 Points in a little over a week doesn't sound like a bad deal. Hopefully they make it something smarter than 100 Points a transaction though such as bigger bundles of points.

Who said anything was confusing? I'm saying they have terrible customer service. The e-mail I sent was asking WHY they were not approved yet, while I've had friends that started doing this AFTER I did, and they got approved and already have their points. It was a simple question to them, which they read, and then FORWARDED to their "Advanced Customer Service Representatives". Yes, my e-mail got bounced around for days, from rep to rep, until I finally got that robotic canned response today. That's why I'm quite pissed with them.

It's ridiculous. Obviously, yes, I'm not the only one who hasn't gotten their points yet, I didn't say I was the only one. I just asked their C.S. a simple question; especially since my Bing Bar messed up twice with Silverlight and I had to "repair & reactivate it". I wanted to make sure that wouldn't be a problem, and to maybe see if that somehow caused a delay in approval process (since they cancel orders if you delete the bar; it's possible that could cause some sort of delay).

So, calm down. I understand fully what the e-mail says, which is why I'm pissed. Thanks for stating the obvious to me, Bing canned response. That's something I already knew, and my actual question went completely unanswered.

Still in the "no points" camp myself. Just did my searchs for the 2nd, started with the number 90, made my way to rod stewert and eventually ended on ceo of walmart. It is actually kind of fun to see where you end up...

Here's hoping that we all get new points set-ups on the 2nd, or well at least for those of us who got the super low ones. 2 points shy of another 100 Microsoft points... at the moment...

One thing I kinda like about Bing's search is when a search result yields YouTube videos, the thumbnail of the video will play while when you mouse over it.

Other than that, I much prefer Google as my default search. The results seem to be...more in line with what I'm trying to find.

Also, since I generally have multiple instances of IE running with many tabs per window, I finally just got into the habit of killing Bing's process in Task Manager (it's something like winext.exe) because it eats up so many resources (come on: it was going >100k of RAM Usage at times).

Figuring it out, if my totals stay the same and the weekly bonus things do as well, I'd make about 760 points a month. Personally, I don't believe that that is worth that bloated toolbar.

Plus, I have noriced some odd things. For example, when browsing bestbuy.com, when I'd select something, that item's SKU would populate the searchbar in the Bing toolbar. That is something I am not comfortable with at all. (Since I VPN to work from time to time on this machine.)

I'm in the same "no points yet" boat as everyone else. I ordered mine back on the 23rd and have only received the e-mail confirming my order. Bummer.

Well at least I'm not the only one without points. Ordered over a week ago. Hopefully they get this all sorted out. I really just want these points to even out my point balance. I'm tired of buying games and ending up with 30 points remaining, but if these come I can make it to where I have 0 remaining lol.

Still no points, I doubt they'll ever show up.
