Unless this doesn't apply for the MS Points, this definitely means mail.
They sell points on cards, but they don't print up 100 point cards. In the US that's $1.25. All you could buy with that is some gamerpics or something equally useless. The amount is too small to bother with at retail.

Microsoft has another promotion called Club Bing that has been around for years. What they do there is wait about a month after you order. At that point that look at your history to see if you've been ordering items from multiple accounts, have suspicious play (like using a bot to play instead of doing it yourself), and other things that are against the rules.

There are digital goods there, like free song downloads, that require you to enter your physical address. They still email the codes.

There was some other promotion that used to e-mail Amazon codes, which got abused, so that promotion eventually started mailing out print-outs of the codes... They were NOT the retail 'pastic' cards, but simply the code printed on a piece of paper (not a full sheet per code, though, probably 8-up, so about the same size as the retail cards).

So, yes, in order to keep people from creating hundreds of accounts with fictitious addresses, it is possible (although I agree improbable), that they could simply print out the 100 MSP codes on paper 'cards' and mail them. They are giving you $1.25 code, so adding another $.15 for postage (pre-sorted bulk mailing) would not be unthinkable, especially considering how Club Bing was abused.

If they don't do something, the 200 MSP for signing up will be abused big time.

VM + Proxy = unlimited MSP (in 100 MSP increments)

I guess we will see in a couple months...

I was wondering, are the Microsoft Points sent by mail or is a code sent via email?
And is it only for US accounts?
I would love to give my nephew in the UK some points.

Regards,
Nick

It sort of sounds like they misunderstood your email and thought you were talking about the points you earn for searches, not the microsoft points you redeemed them for.

I would second that reading of it.

Yeah, no new offers here either. Fortunately an offer that was broken yesterday (I clicked the link and the connection failed. It wouldn't give me points, but wouldn't get marked as clicked either) became fixed, so that's something. I really hope they ramp up the ways to earn. 8-20 points a day, depending on luck at signup, isn't a good way to get a 4k prize.

Yeah seriously. I can only get 8 points a day beyond the "offers" that haven't updated. At that rate, it'll take me 125 days just to get 1000 points.

I've emailed the support again, this time specifically asking them about the reward, not the credits you earn.
Should get the email by this time tomorrow

since this Preview is only open to US residents, I would think you're out of luck. however, maybe you can edit your account info and hope it's emailed

Did my 50+ searches to get the limit of 10 points . also my offers (15 points) did not reset and no new ones

Just signed up and it worked great for me. 200 MS points are already on the way and I'm only a day or two from another 100.

I can't see this lasting too long though...at least the 100 point reward anyway.

I have family in the US, so I can just put in their address and they'll email me the codes once they get them.
BUT, I'd rather get it by email, thats why I'm asking support

Can you only checkout with 100 MSPoints at a time? or can you do mutliple quantities?

edit: I get 1 point per 5 searches up to 20 points a day. My offers were all for 6 points a piece.

I had to put 3 different orders in for the 100 ms points. They don't seem to let you add more than 1 of the same item during checkout.
