I'm probably going to set up a short lowball in a couple of days with some of the DLCs and Betas that I have on hand. My plan is to donate the final prices to charity and match it with my own funds. The two organisations I work with the closest are the Médecins Sans Frontières and the Red Cross. Basically, I need to know what CAG's rules are on charitable auctions/lowballs. Are they legal/accepted? I tried searching, but couldn't really find any precedent.

I think you might not be able to sell them here, taken from the rules.

* Betas for games. Most TOS's/EULA's for the beta say that the beta discs can't be sold/given away, during the beta or after the beta has expired. Depends on the terms of the EULA/TOS for the beta, though if planning to sell/trade them on CAG, please provide a copy of the EULA/TOS that explains thet can be sold. Without that proof, betas can't be sold.

Thanks, I was wondering the same. I was wondering if the same general rules would apply here, so thank you very much for doing the legwork Hopefully there's nothing wrong with giving them away...

I think you can trade them but not sure on that one.

I was sooooo excited for S4, hoping Zipper was back to make it right and bring back the glory days of S1 & S2. For sure day one buy... until I read up on all noob/casual friendly tweaks to get some of CoD money. Split community in half, no lobbies, etc. WORST 2 primary weapons, no handguns, just everyone running around w/ a Sniper and M4.

You just made me immensely sad. I haven't gotten a chance to hook up my beta yet, but that sounds very bad. Hopefully it's just the beta though. Killzone surpassed my expectations, but SOCOM was the one I was looking forward too.

Once I've gotten back to the country, I'll shoot the folks above a SOCOM 4 Beta Code.

Otherwise, also, I'll probably set up a lowball for some of the junk I have where free will be a bid option. I have no need for 5-10 Gears betas either, and have already given away ones to basically everyone on my friends' list!
