I kind of wonder what people do with their pristine, non-greatest hits version of games like the Sly trilogy, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, PoP trilogy, Tomb Raider, Splinter Cell trilogy and soon...MGS, MK, possibly Ratchet and others.

I agree that it can be puzzling how people are so quick to shit on a game because it's not black label, but to call the man stupid? He's not stupid just because he likes his collection to be aesthetically pleasing. Calling someone stupid because he takes pride in collecting just makes you look like the stupid one.

Was going to get this but realized I already have Underworld for 360. I guess I should get back to playing that haha. Really good deal though, even if you only wanted 2 out of the 3 and sold/traded in whatever you don't need.

I've never understood why people give a rats ass if others don't like the red cases. Different people like different things BFD!

Just an FYI. These cases are the "new" clear GH cases. They only have the red banner printed on the paper, so they do not stick out nearly as much as the all red cases.

I bought this at BB when they had the buy 2 get 1 sale going. I got 5 games for 60 & tax. Uncharted is the only one that has the red Greatest Hits banner across the top.

1 thing to point out

they had the only copy in the racks where the 19.99 games are. so i thought it was 19.99 but to double check i went to one of the computers they have to check up on the price ... it wasn't listed on the website then i asked someone to look up the price for me. The guy went to the employee page but nothing came. He finally scanned it and the price rang up 29.99. Wonder why its not listed.

That's probably because it's been out since at least October of 2010. But the price it was gonna be is in the OP and in the title of the thread, so why would you think it was going to be $20?

FYI: In the section you're talking about they have $20 and $30 games, as games like Little Big Planet GOTY($29.99) are there with the $19.99 ones(Saint's Row 2) as that's also the way it is at my local BB stores.

They keep them. Given the same availability, first prints are always more attractive to collectors than subsequent reprints, even though most greatest hits prints have a smaller print run than the original.

I would actually like to turn my entire PS3 library collection into Red cases.

If anyone has replaced the old red GH cases and would like to get rid of them, let me know!!

i had never heard of this set until i saw it at BB i didnt even see this thread until after i bought it
