The last "All Video Games" Gold Box event turned out to be entirely made up of 360 games (except for the DotD). But judging from the lightning deals for FIFA and Madden yesterday, it looks like Amazon has finally made it possible to choose your own platform when it comes to lightning deal games. This could mean that most games sold during "All Video Games" Gold Boxes will actually be multiplatform from now on, which is a good thing.

Usually in the past Amazon announced if the games were only going to be for a certain platform (I think the Wii Gold Box events get the most griefing here), but last time they didh't and it was all 360. Who knows what Tuesday will bring.

I still remember picking up CoD4 for $39.99 not long after release on a Deal of the Day. It may have been one of my favorite purchases ever as I really didn't follow the series all that much at the time having not had a good gaming PC and hadn't had a PS3 very long. Saw the deal on here and with the overwhelming support of the game here I picked it up.
