Yes its been out of stock since launch.

I found this out too (via wiialerts) and put in an order. I bought it with Dance Masters for the $20 video game credit (and I want that game), but then had second thoughts about getting Dance Masters for near full retail, even with the credit, so I went to try to cancel and... it won't let me. They are locking these orders in in an instant it would seem. Oh well.

Damnit - I also forgot about the b1 g1 50% off. I would have used that get Kinectimals half off. Sad. :( I suppose I could order it again and then return the first one. Except I think they've got a one kinect sensor per person rule in place, so I guess that won't work either. EDIT: yep, they do. Can't order a second one.

Oh thank god... I've been WAITING AND WAITING for this to come back in stock to get it as a x-mas gift for my sister (she LOVED mine). Amazon never seems to fail me =D.

There was a Kinect Availability thread started by poker, it was updated quite frequently. I'm simply pointing this out, but I guess when the deal matters to you, double standards apply.

Hopefully some will come in stock at Warehouse Deals later for those who may miss out or can't afford the full $150

The OP hasn't been updated in a month, and the thread had long since devolved from its initial purpose, so it was moved out of the VGD forum.

For anyone on the fence I'd say basically if you're a girl or have a girlfriend/significant other, or kids then youre going to get your moneys worth easily. If you're a single guy or something then you should probably spend your money on something else until there's some more hardcore games for it.

I disagree. I'm not a single guy mind you, but Kinect is a fantastic party favor. Hell, it's so much damn fun drunk that my local bar has it setup. I have had more fun and put more hours into Kinect drunk then I have sober lol.

I absolutely think guys should buy this, get a bunch of friends over, and play with a few beers in them. It's a blast. Watching you buddies play Dance Central is hilarious and playing Kinect Sports is always a good time and far more fun than Wii Sports ever was.

What happens if I end up returning my Kinect + Dance Masters? What happens to the $20 credit? Do I end up getting $20 less back? I might end up returning this if Gamestop gets more of these in stock locally as I have credit there and would rather use that to buy it. I presume amazon somehow gets their $20 back, but I'm curious about it.

Ok single guys who get drunk should also buy this? LOL. I will pass as I don't even have any liquor at my place. I'm just a social drinker. What are you like 21 years old? I think most mature single men should pass on Kinect until they can prove to make something more hardcore gamers would like. Also if you are female and a hardcore gamer you should also pass.

I couldn't agree more. There isn't one single aspect of Kinect that interests me, and until they make a game worth playing on it, it will continue to be pointless to me.
