If they haven't had one about it, I'm sure they will soon.

That's the ironic thing... If they were actually interested in doing any (like, 30 minutes' worth) valid research into problematic content in video games, they could easily find things that would be genuinely offensive or controversial to their audience... But their view is so shallow and arbitrary that a game with people getting beaten to death with dildos can hide in plain sight, while PG-rated love scenes in Mass Effect get hysterically trumped up.

If I remember correctly, one of the authors that came out against the game actually sat with someone that played it and changed her opinion.

...Or the full on softcore porn Rockstar approved sex scene in Red Dead Redemption that absolutely NO ONE gave a shit about it. Yet Bioware still insists on sucking their collective cock by giving us fully clothed dry humping scenes in a Mature rated game where bodies routinely explode and their remains scatter across the battlefield like parade confetti.

Was it that bad? I kept my Mr. Marston faithful. Lot of good it did him in the end :(

The scene was with that moronic rebel leader and it left absolutely NOTHING to the imagination. You literally opened the door to talk to the dude and there he was banging a topless chick in front of you. No warning, no nothing. Didn't even stop. You had to leave before he'd finish, but apparently it's cool because he just had his fly unzipped and she still had a dress on.

Makes me wonder how they are going to handle the infamous sex scenes I've heard about in the Witcher. If left intact then that's just going to make the ME situation that much more idiotic.

I hear you on Marston though. At least your friend didn't spoil the ending for you when you simply asked how it was. I still haven't found a way to repay him for that shit.

Same here. I was surprised that media outlets didn't jump on it.

I did hear that the sex/nudity in Witcher 2 was toned down from the first game. Don't know if that's actually true or not.

Yeah my jaw dropped as I didn't think Rockstar had the balls to do it, but I've respected the hell out of them for it ever since. The fact that they do whatever they want whenever they want and usually for the right reasons mind you. Wish other developers would follow suit when it comes to development rather than turning tail, fixing what isn't broken, or searching for new ways to nickle and dime us.

Ugh... and now I just got some of TW2's ending spoiled. Awesome. Btw I hope those spoiler proof bunkers some of you are living in are secure because a metric f*ckton of info is getting spread about the internet due to the drama surrounding the endings. Lots of people are asking for Tali's face reveal as well. I suggest you steer clear of comment boxes everywhere and be careful using Google. It's only going to get worse from here.

And remember that scene from The Lost and Dammed DLC for GTA IV, I think that was the only time I've ever seen full frontal male nudity in a video game

Remember, folks, death and destruction is fine...well...unless it's of law enforcement officers, because then the game is a "cop killer simulation." But nipples and dicks are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad! Naughty, naughty, naughty!

Images of the alternate squadmate outfits in the From Ashes DLC. Obviously includes information about who the squadmates are if you don't know. It also includes... the glorious return of visors!!

Liara, Garrus and Ash definitely got the better end of the deal in those pictures, but those visors have got to go. Hopefully there's a toggle. If not, I'll deal with it. LOL @ the new TOS pop up. My damage control sense is tingling.

There is a toggle. There are screenshots from the DLC where Vega is wearing that armor without the visor.

Sweet. Thanks Ryu. I'd rather Ash's hotness be embraced and not be obscured on the battlefield during my first playthrough. Unless... those visors come equipped with a wicked damage or squad boost. Then it's mandatory for her to wear them at all times. Stats > Everything Else until I know the game inside and out or I'm playing an open world RPG where the rules change to Style > Everything Else.

on a MP note, got my Asari Adept... daaaamn.

***SPOILERS MIXED IN WITH THE FOLLOWING RESPONSE***

on the squadmates, i have a feeling it will be very situational to the events in the story. those characters listed are ones with not a huge amount of "death potential" that affected their core story. They carried over from the first game or are new. I really hope Liara is fully groupable and not a drop in like in ME2 as she is my love interest in my "best playthrough" based off her involvement in the overall Shepard return and has a huge impact on the overall reason Shepard's story can be told.

However, there are a ton of conflicts goin on throughout the galaxy, and i can see several characters from ME2 and those not listed on the roster above being champions and points of contacts in Shepards attempt to resolve those issues. For instance, Legion clearly has a purpose after wiping or reprogramming the other Geth as well as the conflict with the Quarians. Shepard may deal with him during this time and have him in the squad in the homage to "loyalty missions" on a global scale. Other characters such as Jack, found purpose and moved on to teach at Grissom Academy, in which case she may play a contact role in the story, but will not be spearheading operations with Shepard.

With such a huge roster of possibly alive or possibly dead characters and interacting with them on a galactic scale, it would be tough to make each one a staple member of his overall core team. Everyone has business to settle, this title will try to wrap it all up in the best way it can. As long as I get resolution at the end to the characters we have known and loved, I am ok with that. And Miranda better not have been indoctrinated like the "play with fire" dumbass Illusive man, or seeing her kick his ass would be awesome.

I am so looking forward to this ending to the tale, to blast through some MP, and then do another marathon playthrough of all 3 with the other 3 classes i havent ran through start to finish. This title to me, is the greatest sci fi and gaming experience of our generation, and i look forward to getting lost in it again.
