I used warp ammo III on my rifle the other day (1st time), I didn't realize how mighty it was. I've always been a big fan of the human soldier, even over the turian for gold. Maybe if the incisor was the sniper version of the arc pistol it would be better...but yeah it still seems pretty bad.

I've been noticing a lot of ppl dropping out of matches again right after the objective wave again. Any reason for that? iirc you don't get any credit(s) for dropping.

Meh. All of these events so far have been way too easy. They honestly should implement an elite tier goal so those of us that don't suck at this game can get something worthwhile for it.

the lobbies are already elitists...and im sure you've played with some seriously less effective gamers. they tried to petition an elite challenge list for Reach and there were more complaints than results. We're elite enough to constantly do full gold extracts and the credits we get, we're getting every wpn to X significantly faster than ppl who don't even player silver and/or gold let alone finishing the 10th wave.

so our reward for not sucking is the ability to buy a spectre pack or better after every extraction. this is a cooperative game, even though there are many times ppl tend to play lone wolf. dividing the community further for a game that has no trackable stats is really silly just to get another gun level or appearance unlock sooner.

...and then there's geth/white/gold that is still viable w/out decoy.

Adding an extra goal for these events wouldn't divide the community by any stretch of the imagination. It's completely optional and those not up for it wouldn't bother or find the easiest way to get it done e.g. FW/G. I'd just prefer the option to earn more than one Commendation Pack since it's the only way I'll have access to CE weaponry and VPs in my opinion aren't worth the effort to earn.

They should have made it a Cerb extraction rather than any, so most of those lame FBW geth farmers would have got nothing

So, does this mean Full Extraction or Partial or Lone Survivor? Because if it's Full, then I'm not sure I'll ever get it completed with randoms.

i understand and wished we could get the new wpns more frequently, but every week is almost a guarentee we'll get it...plus rolling the dice on wpn packs is really one of the main draws to continuing to play MP. I think they're just staggering the CE awards to keep the MP alive as long as possible. I'm not bored of MP in the least yet, but farming Geth gold does start to get boring after a while...luckily there is the beauty of the batarian and all 4 soldiers w/incisors.

4 Bat soldiers w/incisors would be doable...since we never really use the guns for anything.

Got the paladin last night, now I have a saber and paladin at lvl 1. oh joy.

I don't know you don't snipe more mr. insert sniper rifle here X.

That's what I wanted in the first place - Spectre Tier Goal: Reaper Gold, Full Extraction, Mandatory Equipment Usage, NO DUPLICATE CLASSES ALLOWED. Something fun, optional, and able to force people to work together for a change. Hell... throw in a revive quota too for a hell of it. Anything to mitigate the obscene level of douche a person has to deal with playing alone.

FW/G is the only reason I occasionally play Gold public alone because it's child's proof and the only set up the community knows like the back of their hands. Guaranteed money. Problem is it isn't FUN and I'd love for that to change eventually. Especially given the fact it is the only Gold my usual crew is interested in playing now. ;\

Prestly confirmed any extraction is viable and will fulfill the requirements thus making it almost foolproof. Matter of fact send me a FR sometime. I could always use more reasons to NOT play alone.

Unfortunately they changed the events to every other week now. I didn't mean to come across as elitist as I very rarely kick people in my games unless they are idle leechers, idiots, or I'm in a party and we've found a third or fourth player. I give almost everyone a fighting chance unless I've gone a handful of pubs in a row without an extraction. Then I flat out don't give a f*ck about anyone but myself.

I just want something fun to do for a change, get me paid or better rewarded for the effort I put in, or at the very least something that will promote teamwork to better the attitude of the community.

@ ink - not at all man, we've played Gears before I think and got @#$ done. I generally don't kick unless the consenus wants to kick (2-3 man XBL party), though if I see a single digit N7 rank or level on gold maps I tend to have an itchy foot.

a trend i've been seeing more and more lately with FW/G is during the extraction wave, 1 or 2 players running to the extraction area and idling out while the rest of us keep the fort down til it's about 30-40 secs to extraction. this is actually more common with players with 400+ N7 rankings...that and the lack of equipment usage.

I'd certainly like to see a more thoughout challenge vs just a single goal or condition. it's basically a dynamic achievement.

IanK and I have had the most fun with less optimal class combinations, as it almost only works w/teamwork since you're not just overloading shields, cloaking and sniping. hopefully the same community that moved bioware to promise an extended cut DLC will also be moved to implementing more objectives, maps, options for players.

A shame the geth don't have a pistol...yet.

XP - Yeah... I remember those KOTH games in pubs were f*cking brutal. We did EVERYTHING we possibly could to win with no back up because none of them knew how to rush properly. Not even that... they simply had no clue WHEN to do it then gave up midway through the match forcing us to clutch. It was a nightmare and once host switched teams it became a lost cause. As much as I still love Gears for what it used to be I'm glad I don't play it anymore. Too much bullshit and too much effort required to win. Let alone have a good time.

I feel you man. BioWare seriously needs to make the jump to class combo and equipment usage requirements for these events to simultaneously keep the game fresh while boosting the IQ and attitude of the community. I'd love them to delve into advanced tactics or less prevalent but devastating combos like fire explosions. Or start theme events for specific alien races e.g. Geth and Quarians, Humans and Batarians, etc. Something new to spice things up.
