Wow what's with all the Chobot hate? I'm loving this. Yeah it would have been cool if it was Emily Wong as the embedded reporter given the history from ME 1 but this is just as good an option. I seem to be the only person on the internet that likes this.

My guess is that Chobot is a romanceable character so that all the fanboys can get their jollies. From the look of her outfit, she plays the Normandy's aerobics instructor.

Yeah, I like Chobot just fine. And actually an in-game Major Nelson sounds like a pretty awesome idea to me. I have a pretty high tolerance for fourth-wall breaking stuff; I think by and large most games could stand to be less serious.

So is the DLC characters going to be, Olivia Munn and Sara Underwood? Wait...I'm fine with Sara Underwood's DSL...I mean DLC.

I'm fine with Chobot as a voice actor, not really crazy that Jessica Chobot looks like her character.

When I first saw Jessica is in the game my initial thought was "oh lord who did she sleep with this time".

My first reaction to this was to , but some of the errors are actually pretty egregious, like basic stuff about quarians and asari that you could glean from a quick glance at their wiki entries. The description of quarian suits in particular is ridiculous.

The volus thing is worst to me. You'd have to go out of your way to avoid depictions of them to realize they can't breathe oxygen atmosphere.

Some of the errors in the new book are bad, but nothing that would ruin the story for me. I'm glad I k ow going in though. I have the book waiting for me on the porch at home.

And for the record, I'm indifferent on this Chobot business but I would like to have crazy Larry on the Normandy selling his wares.

They should have added Jim Sterling from Destructoid as a character, lol.

Seeing as how I'd do a 1080 triple-reverse faceplant into Jessica Chobot's butt at any given second, I don't mind her being aboard my ship (or in the game, for that matter).

Anything past 3:00 in that video is ing insulting, though, and I refuse to talk about it, watch it, or even acknowledge its existence anymore. If I ever get the time, I'll upload the first half of that video and stick it in the OP along with the other promotional vids.

Damn. Guess I picked the wrong day to stay out of the thread earlier in the day if Tha X is that pissed off about a video partway-in.

I was going to pick up Deception on Amazon's 4-for-3 promotion, though if it has some pretty bad mistakes in the ME universe, I think I'll have to give it a pass. The krogan mistake and volus mistake are pretty egregious to make, IMO.

Skimmed through some of those inaccuracies in Deception, and wow. Sounds like it's going to be a painful read.

Hearing Sheen and getting a glimpse at The Illusive Man makes me pop wood, though.

Apparently there are 72 errors now. Lore errors, technologically nonsensical things, timeline errors and a general poop on the English language. To me, it doesn't even sound worth it to potentially add to the universe.

I've been skimming them over the past few minutes and some of them are horrifically bad.
