The "no trading" rule is usually applied to games that are given out en masse from a single source for free and/or obtainable via an exploit.
It is also usually applied to giveaways that are currently running (which the Joe Danger 2 Raptr Reward is not) and maybe for a little while after as the dust settles.

Using Raptr as an example, those Minecraft and Joe Danger 2 codes still required you to have an Xbox Live gamertag (and a valid Facebook account as some sort of verifier), plus experience in previous games on said gamertag.

You had to jump through a few hoops plus plenty of places that aren't Raptr threw out Minecraft codes like confetti. It seems the internet's handing out Joe Danger 2 like candy too.

Example: Since it launched I've had seven Minecraft codes cross hands, all from different sources. That one just kinda happened, funnily enough the one I redeemed was the Raptr one.

The Maw and R-Type giveaways required an Xbox Live Silver account. You can set one of those up in a few minutes. That counts as an exploit, hence why those codes were banned. Plus when that Raptr reward expired recently there were still over five thousaaand of those left!

tl;dr I'd wait until Shrike or Trakan or another mod makes a statement on the status of Joe Danger 2 codes. In the meantime expect to be lowballed like crazy. Supply and demand.

Oh and yes, you can put a "banned" item on your want list at your own risk. Sp00ge made that clear when he was a mod.

By at your own risk I mean if you list a banned item them don't complain if a flood of users then offer you that item or you only get extortionate offers.

Oh well that's me told, thought you had to have a Gold sub. It still had prerequisites though, prerequisites it would have been difficult to meet a second time in the release window unless you have multiple gamertags you play the same games on like a silly person. Besides, I think no cost was required to obtain most of the things we have on our have lists.

You would have to find someone that still has an unredeemed code for Smash TV and trade them something for it. I've not seen anyone offer codes for Smash TV specifically, but there have been a few for Joust and Robotron (other Midway delisted games).

Technically, yes you could redeem it, but I don't know that any such codes still exist.
