Its been a touchy subject as far as games go, obviously a lot of guys certainly wouldn't mind tasteful nudity, and some want even more. I was glad that bmxxx was released with little opposition compared to when games like night trap came out for the sega cd. Which to my knowledge is first big release for nudity in game to my knowledge. (Lincensed) There was a game for the genesis that had an easter egg with it.

But then I realized that the first licenced game to have nudity that I know of is. River City Ransom home of the free smile resturant.

I know some of the systems 3DO, CDI, had *movies* but those systems were not really big sellers to gain public attention.

I heard custer's revenge for like an really old ass system not sure if that counts or not......

Also note that the game River City Ransom is due for release on the GBA here in the U.S, and the nudity scene is in the japanese gba cart.

I heard Konami is making "Freelance Gynecologist 2004" It comes with a speculum that plugs into the USB port.

Hehe... I remember back in the day I rented that Genesis game, I think it was Sword of Vermillion and kept trying to get the nude code. Suffice to say I never got it to work =/

I doubt that games in the short term will have nudity, unless its a Rockstar game. With all the focus on 'wardrobe malfunction' and censorship by the government, nudity would sound the death knell for any game that had it. However, when this phase passes, we'll see a more convergence of movies and games. Look at Enter the Matrix; it had Jada Pinkett kissing Mary Magdelene! I don't think itll be long until the limits are tested more.

I think Custer's Revenge was the oldest game featuring nudity. It was for the Atari 2600 or something like that. All I know is the basic premise: You are General Custer and you have to run across a field naked while Indians shoot arrows at you and, if you make it to the other side, you get the reward of raping a woman who is being held hostage. Great game, eh?
