Or something to allow the entire screen to be viewed or text to appear larger? Because I'm planning on getting them but need to know for sure.

And anything on ME2 PS3 with the small text would help too.

If you have enough money to buy those games, you have enough for an HDTV.

U mad?

I use an SDTV with GT5 (and every other console game I have, old and new), and I found myself using the R1 zoom function a lot.

Although I said that too and I'm a 21.5" LCD monitor somewhat similar to the one you linked to.

The picture is nice, but the lack of a remote control for the volume means I gotta get up off my fat ass to tap the touch controls for the volume if a game is particularly loud.

Then again I'm only 4 or so feet from it, so that's not a big deal.

Seriously. Just wait on buying some games for a little while and use that money for a TV. Then buy the games when they're probably going to be cheaper anyway.

Apparently you missed the third post, where the OP said the following:

None of you are going to change the OP's or anyone's mind on whether or not they want to get an HDtv or not. If they're ok with an SDtv for playing their current gen game system(s) on, then leave them alone unless you have something more constructive than 'hurrr hurrr be a sheeple like us and buy a huge tv so you can go blind and need glasses before you're 50' to say that'll help answer their question(s) they have.

It they want to get an HDtv later on(or a monitor like some of us use), then they'll get it without people harping on them about it.

It's not like he's saying his cars running funny and we tell him to get a brand new car.

HDTV's are SO ing cheap - save some coins and at the end of the month cash them in and get a decent 30".

Playing a PS3 or 360 on an SDTV is like buying a Ferrari to drive in midtown Manhattan.

LOL Again with the preachy people who feel that just because they 'upgraded' that others should blow money on something they don't need.

But he's NOT ok with the way playing games on his SDTV is. That's why he made the damn thread!

The simplest solution is, upgrade already. Why should game developers cater to his caveman TV?

Ok, will anybody just off some actually SDTV solutions. I'm sorry but saying "Buy and HDTV" is not a solution for some of us. It is very hard to find a good HDTV that does not lag in 480i/240p conditions. Hell its hard to find a HDTV that doesn't lag in it's native resolution. SDTV's are what some of us prefer to game on because of several things, not because of money (trust me, I have passed up several attempts to get a HDTV, but there was always something I did not like). I'm not saying that me and the OP have the same reasons for wanting SDTV viewing solutions, but HDTV's are not the solution for everything.

I'm pretty sure they're the only solution to this.

That was not the OP question. The OP's question was do these games have a SDTV mode. Please just answer no or yes the move along. Don't preach to the man.

He quoted the OP. How is that not his question?
