This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, trade-in values, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.
After searching for a game title, click the
icon to pop-up a window with pricing information.
After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360
You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.
Example: gears of war prices
Example: ninjatown review

If you think about it, though, it really wouldn't make sense for them to let you keep it forever if you just sign up for 3 months at $18 to snag all the free stuff. If it worked that way, you could spend just $18 to get all Sam & Max episodes (normally $35), Lead & Gold ($15), whatever minis and PS1 are currently offered, plus whatever they add to the list over the next 2+ months (at least 2 more PSN games). Really, for $50, gettting all that plus more stuff over the next 15 months is not a bad deal. You will probably be done playing most of what you want to by then. And if they keep coming up with great things to add near the end (that maybe you don't have time to play), you will want to renew anyway. |

I'm not the type to play through digital games multiple times (w/ a few exceptions) so I don't mind at all that the games won't work after my 15 months are up. More than likely though I'll still re-subscribe just to get future games, be part of future betas, and give a little support to devs, etc... Another thing, 12 months from now, who knows if Lead and Gold will even have a lively MP community. |

I read on a site that the PS One classic games still work even if your subscription runs out. It was kind of an old article though. Does anyone know if that's still true?

-i like having them there so if i dont get to them soon i can always pick it back up months, or even years later. and im not going to pay for 2 game subscriptions every year. i completely understand the logic in them de-activating when your subs over, but it still sucks to be renting these games until you dont want to subscribe. good deal i think for those with ps3 only and more time on their hands than i. more power to those who want it. The expiration date is the day your plus membership expires, I don't know what will happen since I have a little less than a year to go.

I checked the Sam and Max games and they don't have an expiration date on my PS3. The expiration date is blank and there is no time limit. This maybe because I was affected by the error when trying to download them as I had previously downloaded the Episode 1 demo. Sony had to send me a code to allow me to download the 5 episodes.
I also see 2 other games that don't list an expiration date that I d/l for free through PS+. They don't show anything below the version # so I assume they still expire as, games that I have bought, list a blank for expiration date but I'm curious if anyone else sees the same things. I think I remember something about Wipeout actually being a PS+ launch gift - so that may be permanent on purpose. As for Critter Crunch, I can't tell you about that because I actually did buy this game when it was on sale right before PS+ launched. That was one of the early string of "free" games from PS+ that I already owned (also Mushroom Wars and a couple others I can't remember right now). Like I said, though, it has been much better (for me) recently. I just played through part of Sam & Max Ep/ 3 tonight in fact.

PS+ is worth it if you want to get a bunch of games that you might be on the fence of downloading. I figure if its FREE download it cause you can always get it back from history. Makes good use of the larger hard drives on the PS3 Slim. I can only see PS+ getting better over time. I have been a member since Aug. and a good deal for what you get. I also like 15 months for the price of 12.
