I was wondering if anyone knew if after you mod your xbox (with lights not mod chips) can you turn off the lights so that they dont burn out? Also what happens if I put lights on the jewel and they burn out...or anywhere else for that matter? Can I replace them?(The lights) Or do I have to put a whole new thing in?

Yes, you can replace them, from what I've heard, you can get those little neon lights for 75 cents a piece. Then just find a tutorial online and you're set.

Nice. I still have to buy the neon set up and all and I was wondering if anyone knew how hard it was to put the neon on the controller ports or on the eject?

Hmmm, the eject probably isn't hard if you know how to do it, which is where xbox-scene.com comes in. I don't see how the controller ports would be hard though. I know this guy that does alot of awesome xbox mods, his channel on mIRC is on EFnet and called #mod-mania.

I believe those are just standard LED's, you can buy them at Radio Shack.

That's what I was thinking, and they shouldn't burn out if it's set up right.

I'm sure they do at one point, but look at the LED's on your monitor, keyboard and PC, they almost last the lifetime of the product.

About the PS2 and CG, I'm sure you can mod them with LEDs as well. I'm not sure though, but they don't have as many places to put extra LEDs as Xbox, unless you cut holes for them.
