I took out the HDD to make an portable HDD. The memory is still there, I was still running Ubuntu on it before I took out the HDD. It overheats pretty bad, runs pretty slow now. Asking for $10 + Shipping (It will be a ~8 pound package, so around $20 shipping via USPS), I can provide more details if interested. I would imagine this is best if you want to break it apart for DIY projects, especially if you have the know-how to reuse the screen.
