Boxart has NEVER stopped or embarrassed me from buying a game. Hell, I even bought the Agarest LE for 360 from Aksys' AnimeExpo stand, and paraded around with pride.

As I posted a page or two back, it'll be mild, don't expect full on boobs like GoW3, DNF or Heavy Rain, it'll be more innuendo based, strategically placed items blocking the naughty bits, if they show more I'd be surprised, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Atlus is trolling hard with this game according to the title of the newest email I just got from them:

You're correct, sir. There's someone on the forum I regular that has played through the Japanese version of the game. He says that the trailers and promotion for the game has, quite frankly, dooped the consumer. The actual game isn't all that sexual in comparison, and he says if anyones expecting this game to be then they're going to be very disappointed. He also dropped the bombshell that the game actually has a villain, but the revelation is very downplayed, almost hilariously so.

So yeah, if you only wanna play this game cause you're expecting, ahem, 'adult content' then you might just wanna play some of the other games around with that stuff. People should have known this just from the game not being Cero Z.

I stand behind my initial statement saying boxart would never discourage me from buying a game. This applies regardless of location. Besides, people don't know me at Gamestop, and would probably not bother to do so, which makes it easier to endure the one time act .

On the topic of Catherine, I hope they release a limited edition or add promotional items, considering that both Persona 3 & 4 received bonus content. Not expecting anything though, since I'll probably be disappointed when nothing comes up.

Mostly just went by what evidence was out there, the rating, screens, and trailers. But I didn't expect more than I'd already saw.

I wouldn't say they dooped anyone as much as they showed "exactly" what was in the game and if people had other expectations then it was their fault and no one else's, but yeah, I truly do expect to hear lots of whining about two things when this game is released upon a ignorant buying public.

There might be a soundtrack release, since there is an official OST release out there (I found out about it when I was looking for the name of the title theme, which is "Yo" by L-Vokal for those curious)
