When I purchased my XBox, the box said that it came with a free 2-month subscription to Xbox live, which struck me as pretty cool. I kept the box, not looking through it to look at the warranty or actually look for the card, and now that I want to set up Xbox live, it appears that my Xbox was without a subscription card. What should I do? I think I'll ask Target for a new card, but I don't know if they'll give it to me.

Did you get the Star Wars/Tetris Bundle? If so, the XBL card is in the gamebox.

I did get that, but my problem is that the card wasn't in the box.

If you still need one, lemme know, maybe we can arrange something. The trial cards expire at the end of the month.

I wouldn't ask Target...they can't do anything other than possibly allow you to exchange your Xbox. I'd call Microsoft's Customer Service if I were you - they would be more likely to help.

If you would send a code my way, that'd be greatly appreciated. And to Whipsmartbanky- They do expire at the end of the month, but that just means that I can't play on XBL for free, it just means that after 3/31 I can't start my 2-month trial period.

I also got 2 of those 2-month free trial xbox live that expires on 3/31/04 I believe. I really want to play online with my xbox but I'm still trying to figure out if my cable modem works for my xbox. Does anyone know what brand (DSL or Cable) works with xbox live? If, unfortunately, it doesn't work with my cable modem, I'll have 2 subscription codes to give to whoever needs them. Just ask and I'll PM the codes.

That should give you all the info you need. I haven't heard of any specific brand/model of modem not working. I know there may be some router problems, so you may want to look into that.

ah dont worry about xperation it lasts forever mirosoft says so. Also there are in the cases at blockbuster and hollywood video so just take them they dont relly care.

I have a one of those trial cards here. I THINK. Got it with Project Gotham Racing 2. I already subscribe to Xbox live, so if anyone wants it, then send me a PM. I'll PM the code back to you, and even mail the card out to you if you like. (with a stamp. Not rushed or Fed Ex) No strings, FREE. Just let me check to see if I still have it. I'll edit this message in a moment.

noooooooooooooooo i got pgr2 and it came with no trial card

Well, I'm pretty sure that this trial card came WITH Project Gotham Racing 2, as I just found it tucked behind the instruction manual. It's the first live game that I have purchased new, so I can't think of where else it could have come from.
