This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, trade-in values, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.
After searching for a game title, click the
icon to pop-up a window with pricing information.
After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360
You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.
Example: gears of war prices
Example: ninjatown review

Thanks for the contribution OP
Personally, not a fan of IGN. IMHO: 1. They always seem a step or two behind in terms of ground-breaking coverage 2. The writing is a bit ostentatious at times, but the quality or verbage/diction is a bit elementary 3. Originally, their reviews were a bit inflated, but lately, I think they've gotten better 4. Their video reviews are ok, but many of those voicing the reviews lack a bit of charisma With all that being said, it's a little hard to swallow 50 - 80 for relatively subpar writing and access to content that *typically* breaks news faster on other sites Plus, it's pretty common to get 1 free month of gamefly JUST by signing up with gamefly (unless this tacks on a month free on your current account). D2D may be tempting, but I think more people would jump on board if it was a steam discount (unlikely since IGN is associated with D2D) *shrug* Like I said, all IMHO And again, thanks OP for contributing. |

All good points, I certainly wouldn't buy this because I like any content IGN produces. D2D however has been stepping up on the deals lately. I've spent at least 100 dollars with them so far this year, so I'm thinking about the deal... Don't know though.

I had Insider for 2 years but stopped when it went downhill.
Reviews have much less content. Major games would get 4 pages, now you are lucky to see 2. Any major game release would get a video review, that is not happening anymore. Head 2 Head Analysis is almost gone, they used to rival LensofTruth with every game. And I don't miss it. Almost every single part of the website can be viewed to non members anyway, including guides. So, an extra click on the main page is not enough deterrent to pay whatever they are asking. |
