Gonna hit up my store and see if they still have Champions of Norrath and Gauntlet Dark Legacy...then see if there's anything else there to get.

What are some good/rare Gamecube games to be on the lookout tomorrow? I am going to be looking for Skies of Arcadia and want a couple more GC games to go along with that.

Playing Skies of Arcadia now, it is fantastic so far. I'd look for the Zelda Collector's Edition, Fire Emblem, Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos, Ikaruga, Eternal Darkness, and Killer 7.

good luck with skies of arcadia. There was one near me but it had no manual or anything. Finding one at GS with an original case/artwork and in good condition will be quite a longshot

I actually picked up a crap ton of games this past week in anticipation of this. I gotta go in and return/rebuy them for the discount, thats gonna take a while =P

I was actually considering buying a gamecube. Anyone know if they can count twords the b2 part of the b2 get 2 free? I picked up twilight princes and a few other 29.99 games so it may be worth it to finally pick one up. I was also wondering if anyone knew what gamecube i should try to get. Theres several different models, and i heard the earlier made in japan ones are better than some of the later made in china ones, ect

they have some decent GBA games but theyre overpriced honestly. I grabed a bunch but will probably be returning most unless i have extras for the free games. 20 bucks for super mario advance as a cart only? really guys?

I will second Baten Kaitos. In a list of wholly original games, it is still wholly original.

Cubivore, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Phantasy Star Online (both regular and Plus, but good luck with that one ).

I would also grab a Zelda: Twilight Princess since the GC is far superior to the Wii version.

ah forgot to mention i got
Ocarina of Time / Master Quest , and The Legend of Zelda (Collector's Edition)

Ocrania of time came with everything, case artwork manual.. but the zelda collectors edition did not have a manual. It says not for resale on it so i think it was a promotional item. Is this game supposed to have a manual with it? If so i'll probably be returning it. Too bad because its in good shape

How does the sale work for PUR members do they just scan the card? I'm not a member but if I went in and asked for a card could I get in on the early sale?

Kenshindono - you're not in the bay area, are you? would suck if you grabbed everything noteworthy early on.

Most GameCube games are way overpriced at Gamestop. I will go check out the PS2 and GBA selection. GBA is overpriced too but one local store has a bunch so maybe I can find something. I'll probably just end up getting PS2 games though if I can find any in decent shape.

The LoZ CE was the first 4 Zelda games on one disk along with a Wind Waker demo. They gave out the game and guide for ordering a subscription to Nintendo power at some point, I've still got mine from the magazine subscription :V
And yes it came with an instruction booklet.

I'd be all for it but none of the Gamestops around me carry PS2or gamecube games, which pisses me off. I'm guessing it's a space issue but I'd love to pick up a lot of titles i missed.

So wait....just checking, are we excited about this? Almost none of my local stores still have PS2/GC games in their cases, especially none worth buying.

Why do you think so? Just curious.

Also, will this sale be early for PUR members online also? I am a silver card member and still did not get this email yet

Does this work with new games. Seriously, my store still has a bunch of new PS2 games.

By the way, If the past few weeks are any indication, I'll hit the jackpot tomorrow. Huge selection of GBA games, including the Pokemons; Insanely huge selection of PS2 games including the Silent Hillls, ICO; Personas; etc. Handful of Cube games, but Irakuga is there.

I see your challenge and will raise you tomorrow when I get back. I've been prepping it a bit after I saw how stocked it was already when I got back in town a couple weeks back.

I have made an entire list of games I want but I am trying to figure out if it will work with codes online for better priceage. Free shipping+CAG16+PURC+B2G2 (whatever it will be) will save a bunch. Also took advantage of the 4000PUR points for $10 off preowned game and a 25$GC....but with CAG16 that will knock down a bunch tbh.

I usually do care about game cases+manuals+art but you can print out your own in better quality with the right tools (Photoshop, paper, printer, etc). Manuals are more important to me though.

Only buzzkill is that it's too bad that GBA games aren't sold online :(

Funny story, I got the GC version because I didn't upgrade to a Wii yet. Friend had Wii version, got stuck/didn't know where to go, so I told him to "go southeast". Took us about 5 minutes to realize the different versions have Mirror maps, north is still north, but west is east! Other than that, the only difference I'm aware of is the Wii version uses crappy Wii-mote controls, GC controller please.

Sickening that GS sells the preorder bonuses of Zelda, it says RIGHT ON the box not for resale, assholes. I got Collector's Edition and Ocarina/Master Quest for free. Just the other day I saw a Demo disc for sale $4.99, amazing, it only had 3 DEMOs on it for some skateboarding game, lame.
