FO3 is also a GFWL game. It should have achievements, stackable on top of FO3 xbox achievements. At least the retail FO3 was GFWL. Anyone else confirm that this GS-->Steam version also requires GFWL?

It doesn't seem to *require* GFWL, but does support it.

When I first installed, I did not link my game to my xbox account. I started playing the game and then realized that I hadn't done this. I went back and clicked on 'LIVE' on the game's main menu and linked it to my GFWL account.

Unfortunately this required me to start the game over, but I had only been playing for 20 mins or so, so it wasn't a big deal.

I haven't had the chance to play the game long enough to verify I'm getting GFWL achievements, although it shows I'm logged in, so I assume I will.

So at this point, it looks like the option is yours as to whether you link it to your GFWL account...

At least that's my experience so far.

It is a steamworks game so it requires steam.

Bit on the Fallout 3 GOTY version, downloading now through Steam. My 360 version is still shrink wrapped, obtained from the previous Gamestop sale.

Already have the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3 GotY but I am still interested in the PC version for all the mods and stuff. Plus I've read you can unlock the achievements on the PC version via GFWL with simple console commands...ethical arguments notwithstanding.

I have over 70 hours in the X360 version, PHENOMENAL game! If you love exploring and don't mind nonlinear games with a touch of black comedy then I highly recommend this game!

Can I use GameStop Gift Cards or Edge Cards to pay for downloads?

As our downloadable game fulfillment is handled by a 3rd party, we cannot accept GameStop Gift Cards, Gift Certificates or credit stored on Edge Cards for payment on downloads at this time.

So far Fallout 3 has been practically unplayable on my laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate with all the lockups.

I haven't checked the Steam forums yet - hopefully there's something I can do to help out with the lockups...

My Guild Wars Trilogy order got canceled. Tried to reorder and got a we are unable to accept your order at this time message. Please do not attempt to replace your order. Looks like I have to call in. :(. Just checked my bank account and there is a $14.99 charge on it that is processing.

Anyone know if Mass Effect 2 registers on Steam? It's the same price on Amazon, and I trust Amazon more than Gamestop.com, but if it registers on Steam, I'd bite.

No it does not. But then again before today Fallout 3 didn't register on Steam either so who the hell knows whats going on with this sale.

Mass Effect 2 may register on EA download manager though, which gives you unlimited downloads and automatic patching like Steam. Retail copies of Mass Effect 2 definitely do, but I'm not sure if the copies gamestop will. I'd guess yes, but can't guarantee it.

Any chance Guild Wars registers on Steam too?

I hope not - I don't need a reason to buy it.
