When first seeing the UC2 video on Gamespot, something kinda occured to me. I was thinking how cool it loooked and how it stacked up on some of the coolest games about to come out. About the last game I thought of was Halo 2, I realized that I've pretty much forgotten about it for awhile. Frankly, now it's at the bottom of my most-wanted games, it's been pushed back and pushed back so much that the hype has sorta worn off for me and I'm not that excited about it. I mean sure, when it comes out, I'll probably buy it. But if I had the choice between UC2 and Halo 2, I'd pick UC2. Or True Fantasy Live and Halo 2, I'm positive I'd pick True Fantasy there. Anyone else not that excited about Halo 2 anymore?

EDIT: Please no fanboys of other systems talking about how Xbox has a sucky selection of games, thanks.

I for once agree with you. Although I have it preordered (for that $10 @ EB) I have been disgusted about the way every game mag/site goes apeshit over *gasp* one new screenshot! I really am looking to Doom 3 for my next xbox fps fix.

im excited about sudeki and fable....halo 2 is a distant memory now

there's not a game I want more than Halo 2 no matter how many times it gets pushed back, it will be a classic when that day finally comes. In fact, I'm saving some vacation days at the job just to center around it's release date.

I think I'm the only person in the world who disliked Halo without being an X-Box Hater.

Any time I get apathetic towards Halo 2, I just remember the E3 2003 trailer.

The only game I'm looking forward to more is True Fantasy Live and I'd be surprised if that actually arrives before Winter 2005.

i am looking forward to Halo 2, but there are other games that are on the top my X Box most wanted list. Especially Perfect Dark 0 (talk about a wait), Fable(hopefully its worth the hype), and Sudeki/True Fantasy(leaning towards Sudeki if not broadband by TF release. so that puts halo 2 distant in my mind. hopefully i will be playing it by Christmas

My excitement has kinda diminished since last fall when it was supposed to come out. However, the original still gets a crazy amount of play on lan and the single player is still solid two and a half years after its release. Halo 2 will be incredible, it's just that it's not the only thing I care about anymore.

Halo 2 delayed ??????? When I first heard mention of the games projected release, I added 2 years to it. So if it comes out by Christmas.... in my book it will be early.

I think we all know to expect delays.

I would rather have a game pushed back so that when it does release it will supply the best possible gaming experience the developement team can produce. Should these guys cut corners to make a PROJECTED release date ..... I think not .

So if you were excited before stay excited. Halo 2 will release.... When is anybodys guess. But rest assured these delays only mean the game will be very polished and well received by all Halo fans. They did it before and they'll do it again. It's a pretty tough nut to crack when you are trying to produce a successor to one of the best games ever made

I'm much, much more excited for Fable than Halo 2. At first, I was dying to play Halo 2, but the more I thought about it the more I realized I really didn't need another Halo. Even though I'll probably get it anyway.

This may not be " another Halo" It just might be "THE OTHER HALO"

Fable = August release date

They said definitly will be out in August but i dont beleive it.

Also i was excited about Halo2 until 2/1/04 when i heard it wasnt coming out til fall/ winter o4 doohhhhh lol

I cant wait for Halo 2 and Half-Life 2.
Oh well maybe good things come to those who wait!

I'm sure yall have already seen these, but at Gamespot they have alot of AWESOME Half-Life 2 videos.

Im still very much looking forward to Halo 2, and it is at the top of my most wanted game list. I believe that Game Informer will have a huge revealing preview on Halo 2 next month, so Im sure that will get the hype up, along with E3 of course.
